That has made me look at xbox/PS3 (which was it?), seats, wheels and pedals.

Any advice/recommendations welcome

(as well when to play, having an 8 month old and running my own business )

Cheers.

The gamer race (Pro) was the sort of thing I was looking at. In truth, I don't have the time or the space for it yet.

Some good PR for the game there although did they they even mention the title (guess they cant being the good ol beeb)?

The series Nick Hamilton races in I assume is not using this game if its not yet released? I think I may purchase a copy for the PS3 as could be kinda cool online.

Was funny Lewis taking the **** outta Sutil for wearing his boots and gloves when he plays

I have a VR3 and Fanatec 911 Turbo S wheel and Clubsport pedals. Not cheap but soooo well put together! (Just don't tell the missus how much it all costs!!!!)
Plus the Fanatec wheel/pedals works with both the Xbox and PS3 (And PC if you're into PC games which I'm not!)
I used to own a Playseat too and that was good but decided I wanted a change!

Good luck

Nick

Nice to see Codemasters has completely f*cked PC gamers in the *** by restricting physical sales of F1 2010.

If you didn't pre-order by yesterday its download only or Amazon. And when Amazon run out its DL only.

You're joking?!

I have a much better wheel and pedals for the PC than the MS wheel for the spox, would have preferred to play it on the PC

What's the best price anyone has found out there?

I've seen it at £31.85 from ShopTo and £31.95 from HMV (Xbox 360).

I'm going to wait until Monday to order it, just to see if anyone else under cuts these prices.

Can't wait for this to arrive on the 24th! Can't believe it has been nearly 5 years since the last decent F1 game on the PS2. Although the Geoff Crammond GP2/3/4 series for the PC were the best F1 games.

Maybe we should have a SN online race if enough people. Bagsy being Lewis

My friend has a copy had a play , I'm sure there is a bug with pit stop as you can have a one stop strategy go in the pits 12th and you come out 24th and never catch the rest up.

Also a few times pitted then the next lap after pitting they want you to pit again.

The rules are a little strict too

Are they doing a deal or just because you get it earlier?

I was looking at ordering on Shopto.net this morning but forgot how sh*te their website is. Think Ill just try picking it up before work on Friday morning save any issues with delivery delays etc.

The comparison video on Youtube between the game and real life Monaco is amazing!

My only worry is how good the racing will be? if it's at all accurate then overtaking will be very very difficult.

Also, does anyone know, how long are the races? can you do full races for instance?

The minimum race you can do is 20% which is around 10-13 laps, yes you can do full weekend 3 practices and 3 Q then race.

You can race full length, also getting in dirty air also affects your driving

And yes it's very competitive.

Also in career mode you have to start with a ****' team like lotus or force India and you get development along the season aa your car is considerably slower then the like of Ferrari.

You can also create your own pit strategy
