I'm expecting lots of pi55 taking from this comment, but......

Driving from my parents in Romford, to home in Grays (10mins on M25), the oil temp slowly goes up to 78oC ish, then starts steadily going back down to under 70oC whilst poodling along at 60-70mph, oil cooler might be great for tracks and hot days, but it's a pain in the ar$e driving on a cold day, can't just boot it, need to slow down even more to warm it up for a while before I can tank it!!

Ross it may be worth finding out if you can add a thermostatic switch. That way the cooler will only open after the oil goes over a certain temp so you can actually get the oil up to temp...even with your version of spirited driving

cover it with foil in the winter, like the good old mk1 cortinas had to do with their rads !!!

Got the horn, just haven't had time to fit it, still not had chance to fit my stereo yet either (keep quiet Speccy!)

Mudflaps are on now, going to ask Mr 2 clear buckets to give it a bufty soon too!
