Project 2
Thanks chaps, up yours Bio
First job in the pits.
Since having 2 maps (V-Power & 20% Meths) I ran first 4 tanks on 20% and last three tanks on V-Power. Switched back to 20% today which lead to a huge grin
Will be keeping it this way from now.
Tomorrow will be the first drive in anger on 20% and it's forecast wet all day, so that should be a good crack.

I remember this one well.
That was when Clive had put the front mount Turbo kit on backwards.
Like you said in an earlier post Sy it all ended up being where the ash tray was meant to be

For those wondering who the elusive Sleeper Sy is and why he elected not to be photographed by Red Line during his feature I've managed to track down a photo of him taken on a recent night out.

Yep, good one Sy !! You will pay, trust me
Daz, Sy's wardrobe is unique. His partner of 8 yrs (Larry) was telling me he is fed up with Sy's spending habits regarding clothing. (Look out Sy expect an ear bashing from him mate).
Just returned from Brands track day. Rained hard all day and track was more like a river in places.
First time on a soaking wet track in the P1 & first track time using Meths. I was really pleased with the way it performed. Others cars included a fair number of Scoobs & Evo's, GTR's, Old Skool Skylines, GT3, and M3.
The P1 was a dangerous environment in those conditions. The traction was very limited and I was risking much for no gain so while it was still in one piece I called it a day at 2,00pm after 5 outings.
Was nice to catch up with some Scooby mates too
This is where Daz and Clive met, both showing off their driving skills

Got better in the afternoon, but once the GT3 crashed and the sleet came down i decided it was home time. (and the fact my feet were soaking and freezing!!!)
Car seemed to be going very well Clive.
Jeez, never knew the GT3 was totaled! I was right behind him from Surtees & through Clearways & he was pretty much on the limit as it was twitching a fair bit & what with virtually zero vision (spray) I thought sod this he looks a bit ify, so I took him down the straight. He knew I was there yet still stayed dead centre of the track once on the straight leaving me about too feet to play with.
It was on the cards, glad they were both ok.
The level of "dangerous conditions" varies on what speeds are driven.
If you sat in Grambys car Daz I can assure you mate you would have felt as safe as houses
Yep really pleased with it today Moley. Not sure how the tyres would perform but they coped much better than I thought (Hankooks).
