My first one did circa 30K Miles in my hands and many more with the person I sold it to
and have done a good few since, all on different engines I hasten to add

Davey P: thanks matey
Mneame: not sure on the paint yet, but will have corporate decals. Must admit though Audi Diamond white does look the dogs
J-K: Hows you John. We have been deciding on the dash & we wont need it.
Yep, shell is good. I am taking over to SPR Coachworks tomorrow. I will ask them if they can remove the front wings, and bell you tomorrow.
Next time we hook up we can sort out the spondoolies discussed
Utaka: If I had any doubts mate, Daz would not be involved.
I am glad Utaka posted that question because it's an issue that Daz & I have spoke about several times and certain things need to be mentioned.
I look at it like this.
Daz Davies is either confident he can do it, or he's the bravest bastad I've ever met.
His only problem is worrying what some may think, and that some readers will be comparing this P2 thread with my former P1 thread. I fully understand & realise that when P2 is finished the engine will look rather ill compared to what I have my head in 3 times a week.
It would be impossible due to P2's budget.
We communicate daily and his plan, knowledge, spreadsheets & sourcing of parts proves commitment.
Another issue I want to comment on is this. If I had a quid every time someone asks "how much did that lot cost" regarding the P1, I could probably have another one built.
I could rabble on for ages about this but I will sum it up by saying this.
If you are fortunate enough in being able to give RCM your car and basically tell them to do there stuff, they will do it, there way.
It's a waste of time me explaining what it's like, just get in the thing for 5 laps.
I have found that works best it's an awesome package.
The only guy who has sat beside me when finding the cars limits on a race track is Daz. I'll let him explain. DAZZZZZ !
PS: (the dyno runs proved the car was running at 445 Bhp at Snetter's. Now on 20% Meths at 562 Bhp.
Will post shell pics & info up tomorrow

LOL Clive, the engine bay won't look ill it just won't be as shiny!!
I can't wait to get stuck into this. I also can't wait to prove the doubters wrong. I'll be building two stonking 600bhp+ cars this year, mine and Clive's and when they are finished they will both speak for themselves.
Clive's P1 is an awesome bit of kit and makes for a fabulous road car. It goes like stink and can also be put on any show stand. Turning the P1 into a track monster would eventually ruin what is a spectacular car. The P1 as it stands is perfect for a fast road car but as Clive said we found its limitations on track. Despite there being a Spec C in tank anti surge kit on Clive's car he still managed to get fuel surge at Snetters the only way to combat this is either having atleast half a tank, a swirl pot and external pump or a full on race fuel cell. Where do you draw the line in a road car?
This led to the conception of P2. Clive decided he wanted a full on track only car. This is what I shall be building. There won't be any nice polished fuse box covers, battery covers or nice billet brake resevoir lids etc. This will be a build that is function over form.
Everything in the engine bay will have a job to do, there won't be anything there that's only function is to look good.
For me this is quite a daunting task not only am I building the car with all of SN watching but I'm also building a car for an owner that's just had his road car built by the best in the business RCM. So expectation is high. I know I'm more than capable of building what Clive wants and you'll be able to follow the build every step of the way.
Hopefully the doubters amongst you will just quietly watch the thread unfold without adding any more pressure than what I'm putting on myself The proof is in the pudding as they say.

Was a good laugh yesterday. Sy and Fudge are like an old married couple was highly amusing.
The shell needs some work but has all the right parts and is an excellent base to start from.
The water came from the roof scoop which was left open.
This one's going to be a cracker folks

There will be plenty of documentation Stu.
In the earliest stages at the moment but will become more informative soon. There is still much going on but we want to finalize things first before posting up.

I'm one of those watching your new project unfolds.
I'm in no doubt that you have chosen the most ethuastic guy out there and wish you the very best for your new build.
But please give us some more spec

OK a little more info.
Block is a 2.2CDB
Crower\Lateral Stroker Rods
Wiseco\Lateral 97.5mm Stroker Pistons
Subaru OEM EJ257 Crank
ACL Race Series Phase 2 Main bearings with additional phase 1 Centre Thrust bearing
ACL race Series Big end Bearings.
Engine Management will be Syvecs
Fuel labs 1000bhp fuel pump
Not sure what we're doing with fuel tank yet but have a few ideas.
Clutch is an Exedy Twin Plate
Heads have yet to be decided but I have choice of V3 heads, V5 heads or some AVCS(subject to finding some AVCS heads)
Don't forget we're still in the planning stage. That should keep the interest up for now.

What power/torque will the Twin plate cope with?
I would have thought AVCS will be the best for spool up since yous are going for Syvec ecu...just like you have
