I have no problem with whoever is on that show, I dont generally watch it but they must be brave, doubly so if they have a disability other than just a bit of a fat ****, possibly the whole premise of the show is a bit voyeuristic or wrong but the same applies to anybody on it, disabled or not, for me though occasionally you get a bit of female flesh on an otherwise drab tv night.

Anyway, Gok is straight as a die, he puts on the gay thing so women are happy getting nekkid and having him grab their *******.

The "typo" in the title should really be changed, wouldnt want anyone to think it was intentional, especially as we do have some oriental members on here.....

He/She does a great job of making people with inferiority complexes feel better about themselves, this can't be a bad thing
Although the question is, does it need to be broadcast into our living rooms?!
I actually enjoy it though, Nice Bangors!

I totally agree, I did make a reference to it at the beginning of the thread.

It's a matter of taste as with any programme.

Does it 'need' to be broadcast? No.

Do many other programmes 'need' to be? No, probably not.

The fact is different programmes appeal to different people for whatever reason, that's the way it goes.

It's a bit far for me, making people get their kit off and sit in shop windows/walk down a catwalk, but it makes them feel better with a confidence boost, and must make other viewers feel the same. Then of course there are the pervs who are happy to watch anything on display.

To Daz, I'm not saying I personally have a problem with the Piers Morgan or Gordan Ramsey programmes, but there will be people out there who feel the same as you do about Gok, they are not for them. TV produces some good stuff and some bad stuff but it very much depends on the viewer, and not everything has to be educational as such.

pmsl at the Piers Moron comments... So Gok Wan fails to clear your intellectual threshold but The Sun/NOTW/Mirror lie-mongerer and ego-onna-stick is good viewing

My telly has a selection of awesome buttons on it... Some make channel go one way, some make channel go other way. One even make channel go 'way. You should try it.

Ok so the less fortunate amongst us, also want to look good, but does it really need televising???

I am sure there are better programmes to be made
Despite the fact the girl featured had a problem from birth, the real issue of paraplegia wasn't with her until the age of 16 and only in the last 2 years rendering her confined to a wheelchair.

She doesn't look at all bad and I think better before the 'big high hair' look which made her look a little severe. I know some real beauties in wheelchairs. These girls I know were enjoying the total freedom the use of your legs, arms, hands, balance, lack of pain and ease of day to day living gives you until accidents put paid to that.

Those that have never been exposed to disability at all, particularly due to accidents, do need to realise just how easy your entire life can be turned around.

Dazza, I think I'd be right in saying you never meant anything bad at all about the fact you insinuated looking good in a wheelchair should be less of an importance than looking good walking about but I'll ask you this;

Would you drop your best mate if he suddenly found himself paralysed due to an accident in his car? Actually that question could be to anybody really. Would he appear disabled to you or just your best mate who's good with the girls, has plenty of decent mates, has a good job, drives a nice car etc, but sits down due to shít luck?

Oh and nobody mentioned her titanium wheelchair with Spinergy rims.

Spoon trust me mate, i empathise with people from all walks of life, but i would try my hardest not to feel sorry for them (however hard this may seem) as i think thats the last thing they want. It's quite humbling to be around disabled people and it certainly makes you thankful to be able bodied. I take people for who they are, not what they look like, or how many nice things they own etc....

...and yes he/she would still be my best mate !!

having said that, if i had a wheelchair, carbon fiber would be the way to go.
