chill out children all i said was that i thought 460bhp at 1.6bar on a 2.0l was bull **** because i didnt believe it ..im entitled to my own opinion wasnt attacking anybody so defo no need for the same old scoobynet beef for no apparent reason vibe.

Maybe if people stopped posting dynosheets saying my sc46 at this ...bhp and not stated that they are running meth. cant we just stick to v power figures because its obviously confusing people as they keep asking what can i expect?.

Mr gaffer-there was no need to put the graph up as the owner already has now said it was with meth so guess i was right on that one and had the right to question it. quote to prove_ "424.8 bhp on v power and 459.6bhp on 16.6% meth" posted after you strange reply lol

and maybe you should read the thread because you said it your self-

"we have done loads of SC46 Billets on 2.0 ltr new age STI cars, they usually do around 420 BHP on straight "V" power and 450 to 460 on a 20% methanol mix. "

and as for this message???? wtf

this quote is on page 89 mate.all the info is in the thread if you look for it.i find it very strange that you would have anything bad to say about the clinic on their thread about turbos??their turbos are epic mate as all the graphs prove.the message you couldnt understand was meant for someone else.kev and the boys have done nothing but help me and other ukscoobies members so far with everything from turbos to geo set ups.i for one will be spending more money up there if the outstanding service continues

Hi,

you need to take a step back.

You refereed to WRX9181 as "douche bag", my post was to WRX9181, (Mick) as a play on your comment, Mick is having some custom wings made for his car by our body shop, Steve is the "guru" who is hand crafting them, it was not meant for you, if it was I would have said so.

I posted up the graphs to save people having to search for them.

You state you have spent thousands with scoobyclinic, we appreciate your business and always look after our customers, if you want to buy an MD turbo that's fine by me, they are a very good turbo, I should know I ran an MD321 T on my own car for 3 years.

It is not clear to me who you are as you post as 2.5STI and never sign off with a name.

Back to turbos, graph of SC46 Billet on a 2.5 and this one is a 2.5 running on "V" power.

ok so the message wasnt for me but it was obviously an indirect dig at me..
I dont know why the owner of a decent company whom i actually used to respect and have spoken to on many occasions with good response ( and spent thousands with) to take the **** out of one of his customers for no reason im my opinion is a bit lame to be honest thats why im offended.

I commented on the fact 460 at 1.6 on a 2.0l that there was something missing.. i.e METH

I bought a sc46 billet myself and was generally interested and you guys just want to take the **** and blabber on irrelevence have a word with yourself you ruin scoobynet.

so for the rest of the scoobynet people who dont have there peace in a mates ear roll or tuners ear roll heres my sc46 billet on a 2.1 stroker at 1.8 on v-power- does 200 mile to a tank all day long too...oh and no meth.

Hi,

it was not a dig at you just a bit of fun between me and Mick.

Remember its you who popped up on this thread accusing people of bull****ting, even referred to Mick as a "douch bag" but I guess thats OK.

Seems your SC46 Billet is doing the numbers so I dont understand your problem, re read your last few posts on here they come across a bit sharp.

Cheers

2.5STI, definately think you should chill out a bit as anyone who knows kev and his guys will already realise you must have got the wrong end of the stick somewhere along the line!

"ok so the message wasnt for me but it was obviously an indirect dig at me"

any chance your reading between lines that dont exist fella???? re-read the posts carefully and more importantly make sure your reading things in the right context before you start throwing dooky about.

A company doesnt get as big, or carry such a good reputation, as somewhere like the clinic by randomly taking the mickey out of customers wether theyre new to the company or have a history of spending alot of hard earned! .... unless i suppose theyre customers the company could do without associating with for whatever reason!

Personally, conservative mapping for standard rods, EJ257 on an SC46

Vpower - 440bhp/410ftlbs

95Ron - 410bhp/390ftlbs

Until its little spa incedent it was an absolute flyer and i was over the moon with its spool charecteristics..... keep up the good work SC.

Nobody was taking the **** mate least of all Kev,hes way to much of a professional and a gentleman to do such a thing. As said above the comments were meant for mick`s ears(wrx9181) and not yourself,it just got took the wrong way by yourself so theres no reason to be offended mate, and you say it yourself in your comments, spent thousands, had good response, decent company who you respect.scoobyclinic are at the top of there game because they are the best at what they do,its that simple.

By the way thats a nice graph mate and i love the way the 2.1 makes the turbo come alive, with 20% meth your gonna be over 460 with terrific spool.I will be looking closely at the 2.1 route next year myself.

I way I see it people need to be open as to what fuel they're using and others need to be sure they read what is being said. By on large this is what happens.... occasionally though some details are missed, as people comcentrate on peak figures and think "Well my car should be able to achieve that". Unfortunately it's never that simple.

To be fair Kev has stated what is the norm for a SC46 on a 2ltr, that being around 420bhp. A 2.5ltr will normally make more power at the same boost as being used with a 2ltr. You can on some instances get round this by either running more boost on the 2ltr... or by using a different fuel type to compensate. We all know that (all things being equal) 20% Meth can increase figures by about 10% over VPower.

Is using Meth cheating or exaggerating.... no, of course it isn't. But people need to be sure they are attaining or comparing information that is relevant to what set-up they intend to use. That way your expectations should be realistic. Same engine capacity, same type of heads, same fuel and same boost levels. Different specs will produce different results.... let alone the same spec can still produce varying results, on different cars.

Caveats will always apply to this stuff.

To be fair mate, it was stated previously..... quite a few pages back. I think that is why the "wrath" of ScoobyNet abuse started.

However, we are where we are and no one has died yet as a result of the recent posts.

The devil is always in the detail and with a thread as mahoosive as this one, it's very easy to miss details that were posted pages back.

We live and learn.

No one else has said it so I might aswell!!!

You sound like a complete tw"t

2.5STI none of your comments were warranted as far as am concerned. It just sounds as tho you've not got the figures "you were expecting" and feel very bitter about it. However it clearly states through out the thread that 400-420 from an SC46 is the norm on a 2.0l.

However the thing that surprises me is your figures are actually good.

I suggest you stop insulting other members and actually read the thread!

Sc 36 Billet, 2.1 stroked engine, UK heads, version 5 on V power controlled by the Syvecs ecu.

Nice torque figure and brilliant response on the road.

Think that's covered it.
