Hi,
congratulations to Clive (mad hammer) for yet again winning the 30 to 130, an impressive time of 6.856 achieved on a Billet turbo.
The evo guys also did well on Saturday, 2 full trim road cars running GT35 billet and a GT30 billet came 3rd and 5th overall, and lets not forget these two cars are fully trimmed road cars with stereo, amps and sub woofers.
Well done Alex, Sohal and MG autos, and it goes without saying, well done Clive and of course Paul for mapping the beast.
A great day for the Billet turbo's.
Cheers
Kev

Had another crack at this one the other day.
Still fitted with it's SC46 Billet, we swapped out the stock intake hose for a Perrin alternative, mapped in a bit more midrange boost and saw 449bhp and 480lbft from 1.7 bar peak and 1.5 bar top end.
Then using the new Ecutek Racerom switchable maps feature and a 16% methanol mix we saw 502bhp and 492lbft from the same boost. Flat shifting through 1st to 6th is awesome, a continuous shove in the back until the eventual happens and you chicken out.
Graphs will follow.

Going back to David to have a Samco intake pipe fitted and then another session with Bob on Thursday.
I will say this though: even though I can't uncork the genie at the moment so to speak, the response of that turbo is something else. I s*it you not on a 2.5 with the right mods, it feels like it spools like the TD04 on my old classic prior to a remap and this is a 460bhp turbo!!!! Will be interesting to get the data to see where the turbo makes 1 bar and then full boost!
In the early stages of mapping Bob remarked that the turbo was spooling like an SC38!!!!! On Thursday, we're going to put 1.8 bar through it and set up the RaceRom Goodies. Should be fun!!
I don't want to jinx it *crosses fingers*, but come thursday I reckon we're going to have a bit of a monster!

Not yet mate: the SC46 tured out to be too much for an RCM intake pipe and literally sucked it shut when whenever Bob and I tried to apply WOT. Not sure if it was just from a duff batch or whether the part spec isn't up for 1.7 bar on a 2.5

Ill agree totally on the sc46 billet on a 2.5. Its just so drivable with all that power. Best decision i made. Although the my clutch is letting me down now in top gears!! Got to love the huge torque though

As promised, graph for RB320 recently mapped on 16% meth on an SC46.
And to add a bit more variety, lol, another SC46 on another Enginetuner built 2.5 engine on another 2008 Hatch.
Vpower only in this one.

Hi,
last week we had a WR1 on the dyno with an upgraded turbo on it which needed 1.9 bar to get 400 BHP, now that is wringing its neck.
We swapped it out for an SC46 billet which went on to produce 440BHP at just 1.4 bar.
Result.
cheers

Is the SC46 the largest conventional mounting twin scroll that you offer?
My engine is having a rebuild/upgrade at the moment and I had thought about an SC46 twin scroll, but is there a SC50 twin scroll on the horizon?

Hi,
we can offer 2 more twin scroll turbos, both would be custom orders as we dont see that many twin scroll cars.
One is slightly bigger than the SC46 and the other is a similar size to the SC 50 billet.
Please contact me direct, info@scoobyclinic.com for any more info.
cheers

to add to the above, the SC54 is based on a GT33 Billet, if you really want a 600 + bhp direct fit turbo we can offer one based on a GT 35 Billet.
This will be good for over 600 BHP and will be a similar price to the SC54 Billet.
We find most people who are looking for 600 BHP tend to want to go rotated, based on that we have not stocked any direct fit turbos for that kind of power, however we can do if the demand is high enough.
I guess it would be a saving on all the rotated pipe work and external waste-gate set up required.
cheers
