Hi,
quick update .
Been a busy couple of weeks what with the Scoobyclinic shootout last Sunday and time attack this Sunday (10th oct).
As many people know we blew up our time attack car at TOTB after scoring 5 out of the 6 points earnt by team Subaru, having to prep 10 cars for the shootout we had to put the "pink" car on hold until last week.
We built an engine, fitted it Friday and stayed to get it running late Friday night. Odds and sods sorted by Saturday lunch, few miles on the dyno and a safe map gave us this.......

The car, on E 85, was only running 1.75 bar of boost in setting 3, (top boost), shown in the graph above, and just 1 bar for most of the day running a very conservative map, with this in mind there is loads more to come from the Billet 35 R.
In the event at Snetterton we got a podium 2nd and therefore won overall the club pro class while running the car in.
Cheers
Kev

from what I hear you are not doing badly either.

Funnily enough we have a number of track cars running the same set up as you had but with the smaller SC36 Billet, both cars are doing extremely well in the Nippon challenge, one is set to win it.

Thanks for your support.
cheers

What a great and very interesing thread!
I have one question though, on the very first page, the first tubby pictured appears to have some sort of coating, what is it and do you proved the SC series with this?

it was a wrinkle finish aerosol spray, nothing special, we applied it for the effect requested on that particular turbo by the customer.
Having a paint shop as part of our operation we can offer a colour coding of the compressor housings if required.

Hi,
a quick up date on the Billet GT 35, Mike Latimers car mapped by Simon (JGM) has just produced 701 BHP on V power.

Here it is on race gas 750 BHP.

Well done to Mike and Simon and of course Charlie at Surrey rolling road.
Cheers
