Barry,

great to speak to you at last , some great ideas mate

Kids lists :-

Ongar:

1. Girl aged 9 years
2. Girl aged 10 years
3. Girl aged 10 years
4. Girl aged 10 years
5. Girl aged 12years
6. Boy aged 12years
7. Boy aged 9 years

List for Billericay :

1. Girl 9 years old
2. Boy 1 10 years old
3. Boy 2 10 years old
4. Boy 3 11 years old

I would suggest that if you would like to get a present for one of the above on the list, please do so, but mark your name next to the chosen child so that we know that we have got correct amount of gifts covered for the children of the age/gender.

If it comes to it, we can always double the gifts up, so that each child gets 2 gifts, for example, if there are 22 cars attending = 22 gifts = 2 gifts per child.

I will probably get a Scalextric set for each home, as I have found both my boy and girl love it.

I will get my kids on the case at the weekend

If you can't do a whole present, times are tough as we all know, perhaps a small donation and we can put it together for the other presents

Come on guys lets make this work

Mike,

Just a selection of Hot Wheels etc for boys would be great

Come on peeps, get your name on the list please

As has already been said in another thread, if you do not participate, you do not get any of the true atmosphere of a good meeting and cruise, and what with this being only a few days from Christmas, will make a great event

ESC Santa Cruise 2009, 20th December

The idea is that we donate gifts (wrapped for either boy or girl or suitable for either) and deliver them to a home for children a day or two before christmas.

This is always a great event, seeing the kiddies (those driving and those receiving gifts ) and I believe really makes a difference to them.

For those that cannot make the event, gifts would be much appreciated, even if you aim at a value between £5-£10 this will make a child in a home over Christmas extremely happy. Gifts will be collected at either the Posers Cruise, Halfway House meet or The Lodge, this gives plenty of opportunity for getting the gifts together.

If there is anyone that is open to accept gifts from their home or workplace as suggested by Spally (great idea ) , please add you name to the collection list below.

All those available for the delivery of gifts to kids homes please add your names to the delivery list

Leaving time and route to be confirmed, but please take it that it will probably be a meeting time of 8.00 - 8.15 AM and leaving time of around 8.45 - 9.00 AM from Baz Vegas car park

I have tried to make this list an easy way for people to buy presents for the kids, please put your name next to the child you are buying a pressie for

Kids lists :-

Ongar:

1. Girl aged 9 years
2. Girl aged 10 years (Nate and family)
3. Girl aged 10 years
4. Girl aged 10 years
5. Girl aged 12years (Phil and Family)
6. Boy aged 12years (Phil and Family)
7. Boy aged 9 years (Barry/Ann friends)

List for Billericay :

1. Girl 9 years old (Barry/Ann friends)
2. Boy 1 10 years old (Nate and family)
3. Boy 2 10 years old
4. Boy 3 11 years old

If all the childrens names are filled, do not hesitate to add your name for a second gift, because by the number of attendees, we should easily be able to double up the gifts .

Many thanks for the generosity of Duncan, and Matt for arranging the auctioning of it

Scalextric all sorted, cheers for the donation on my TV Stu

I think thsi Cruise will be the best that the Essex Scooby Crew has done thus far

Be aware that the delivery of the gifts will take in some lovely B roads
