Forza 3
I learned to use the clutch button and it's way faster over a lap than manual with auto clutch. Think I managed to take about a second from my A class Mugello long time.
problem is I really think it takes away from the fun of playing the game. I play with the wheel and hitting "a" makes you twist your hand round and drive with only one hand on the wheel. Not fun so I've gone back to normal manual + auto clutch.

Squirell555 was telling me that he find the clutch quite easy to use with the wheel, i dont know how anybody can do it with the control pad as its a nightmare, but he says its much easier with the wheel.
Never used the MS wheel so i cant say how i found it.
Managed to get to driver level 50 this morning and i am now on the final season.
Checked the event list and i still have a shedload of events to do, doubtful they will all be done in this final season, i wonder if the seasons continue on forever or they just stop ?

I don't play with the wheel all the time but I've given up trying to 'learn' the clutch. Like RB5 says, it rids the game of enjoyment worrying about lunching the engine.
Kudos to the people that can use it though.

Remember the Forza 2 timetrial events ?
Any ideas on setting up time trial comp that will push all of us forward in looking at car settings and keep the game alive for a few months longer ?
I'm open to standard cars .... settings.... same tune ( via storefront ) anything where we can set up a good sweep of circuits and car classes to get everyone involved. I remember we tried a handiccap system to make the races closer when forza 2 was around .... just looking for ideas.
o2 ping is the main thing keeping me from online racing this time round. 0.5 meg and 200ms ping on an upto 8meg line. they say a fix is on the way .....

I've not played this for quite a while, I think it looks brill but i'm a little pissed off that the majority of the tracks i've used have been the same as those on Forza 2. The repetition isn't helping pull me back.

I'm enjoying the 'new' tracks they've included in FM3, although the majority of them are from FM1
I'd be up for some timetrial fun. My 7 week old son seems to have destroyed any chance of me playing online at a time when other, more sane people are playing. So a bit of a SN time trial challenge would go down a treat
