FORZA ITALIA never mine all u people who say Italy r boring , u will see a different team tommorow,as for attacking at least Italys goals are scored by a striker and not a defender! and of course we was robbed by that sunday league referee and linesman in the croatia match.

Ah Juliano - Nevere ASSUME - it make an *** out of U and ME - I Live in Scotland but am English - At least we HAVE qualified - you're going home you're going home ... 
ps Had you not sat on your 1-0 lead against the Croats you would have qualified by now - and as Mexico still need a point to be sure that's what they'll get

I told u so Italy r through a great equalizer by del piero oh and it should have been 3-1 to italy yet for more school boy linesmen as for england dont be so sure u will beat denmark easily.Now Italy r through we will see the 3 time world cup winners go all the way to the final FORZA AZZURRI!

As I am an Italian Fan, i'm in shock and can't belive it and i'm sick
!!!, the abuse that I have had of my friends it unreal the phone was going none stop after the match, messages being sent faster than i can open them, i am not a sour loser the koreans played well, but our italian tactics are sh!te, get 1 goal and then sit back and defend,we should of learnt from the Croatia game. 1 goal is never enough to sit back on in this football era, and Trapatoini the manger said,before the world cup that he would promise to play attacking football.
We have the quality to play football and the players to do the damage.
The manager when he gets back to Italy we will string him up by his b a l l s .
P.S if you look carefully at Tommasi goal it was not of side, the officals in this world cup have robbed us blind, and Vieri miss from 4 yards , well i could have shot him

The Italians are the best, if not the best in the world, at defending usually. It is very rare for them to lose playing this style. They win mostly like this, rather than lose. The records show this. So I believe they can keep this style. I know they lost today, but they usually can get away with it because it usually works for them. I myself don't like this style because it's not entertaining for the spectators. I find it a little boring, but if it brings in the results, why not? Because at the end of the day that is what counts. You don't worry about the spectators.
Now for the Greeks, who TRY to copy the Italians, it is the opposite. They must change their style if they want to get anywhere. What bothers me is that the Greeks that are terrible in defence, try to copy this style, which never works for them. They always lose with this style, yet they keep doing the same thing all the time. They never learn. I'm not even I coach and I can see it. Why can't all the Greek coaches past and present see this? Why fix something that is not broken? They play good attack, they score one goal and they try to fix the game which is already fixed by playing back and wrecking the game. Why not let the game flow nicely?

I know what your saying!! were are the best in the world at defending and normally win 1 or 2 nil, but we have been some what poor in this world cup, no offence to Maldini but i do think it's time for him to hang up his boots he never even jumped for the ball with the koreans second goal in extra time,i'm some what devistated and still don't belive it, but this is life and we will have to live with it.
