My friend has worked for bmw for over 10 years and has brought home every make of bmw they do for a test drive and when his dad sold his his mint corrado vr6 he found him a 325i ti compact sport, cracking car, almost as quick as a non evo e36 m3, 4 years on still looks mint now when i see him tootling around in it, and 35mpg
Oh...just seen above post good choice i came from a corrado vr6 to my 99 ppp'd uk turbo, lovely sound from the 12v in line vee engine im sure the 24v sounds just as good, enjoy

Test drove a V6 4 motion a few years back and was well impressed. Felt much quicker and responsive against the highlighly acclaimed Mk3 VR6. Good choice.
Its nice to have a change, and I have jumped in and out of loads of cars around that value, but have to say you still can't beat a scoob for the money. Pounds per smiles and all round ability I have yet to find anything that beats or comes close to a good scoob.
