Played on simulation difficulty
Quite hard in the Porsche race car when you have to use the left bumper button as a clutch
Graphics look pretty damn smooth and sweet, it seams to play a lot more "grown up"

The Asylum
5 cars and 1 track. Mini, Evo, Ferrari, R8, Porsche RSR.
I can't better 1.08 in the R8 and 1.04 in the Porsche which is only getting my top 7% or top 8000 on the leaderboard (which no doubt will have dropped considerably over night). Only used the handset so far so need to get the driving seat out and have a go.

Gah I'm so jealous of you lot. I remember us all hammering the demo of Forza 2 for weeks when it was realeased. Wasn't that only one track? Mugello I think? I thought I wa quite good until RB5 posted his times

Hmm, why do all the cars look like they're made of plastic? It's gone all GT5 and lost some of the (graphical) realism in the process imo.

I preordered this ages ago, can't wait! The only problem I foresee is that my wife is due to give birth on the 15th October so I may have to limit my game time slightly, at least for the first couple of weeks

Yep you can use the rewind for your lap times as although I said above I wouldn't use it I tried it to see what it was like. I'm assuming those with the outrageously fast lap times are using this to get every corner to absolute perfection.

My broadbands back! but when I fired up the 360 it said there was an update available, so I clicked ok and it installed it, reset itself and now it's stuck on the Xbox 360 logo at the beginning!?!

I was reading a rover forum the other day and they were starting up some BTTC spec races, with a set amount of power/tuning, and the cars had to have the touring car graphics on them, i was quite tempted to post up and join in, but the rover forum people are generally complete dullards, so i never bothered

LOL that was my car in the air if I remeber correctly. Got taken out at sunset infield then set a few scorching laps to end up mixing it again at the front of the pack.
found the demo great fun but would like a wider track to feel the handling a bit better. feels almost he same as Forza 2 so that's a good thing.
looking forward to some SN nights on this. Racing with a sensible bunch in the past was great fun.
promise I'll take it easy on you n00bs
