Please tell me you can turn off the Auto-brake & rewind/ undo crash :eek: :(

Kinda defeats the point if not!

BUT it does look very good indeed.

A demo for the upcoming racing sim is heading to the Xbox Live Marketplace on September 24, featuring many of the latest iteration's enhancements.

The Forza 3 demo will feature the game's new ****-pit view, refined damage model, new rewind function and even allow players to pull barrel rolls around the full Camino Viejo circuit. Forza 3's September 24 demo includes five playable vehicles:

* 2007 Porsche #80 Flying Lizard 911 GT3-RSR
* 2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro
* 2009 Ferrari California
* 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
* 2009 Mini John Cooper Works

And with a true competitive spirit, the demo will also support official leaderboards for gamers to compare their best lap times. Strap in, folks. This one is rounding its last corner before crossing store shelves.
When i read it had a rewind option i thought it was a bit ghey.

autobrake WTF!!!

Forza always include options to get the learners into the game. They also always allow people to set up rooms with the aids banned so you get the best of both worlds. It rewards the drivers who improve their skills as you can go faster without most of the aids.

That was a good laugh mate, and not surprising you beat me in that as I seem to have missed the apex a little (as normal) :lol1:

Neanderthal 14 September 2009 10:14 AM

Used to love the racing we had. Some great battles. Generally as well driven in very good natured way. Collisions will happen though.

Seems innocent enough, till you spot the ghosted car in the air in the background ;)

StickyMicky 14 September 2009 12:01 PM

I was reading a rover forum the other day and they were starting up some BTTC spec races, with a set amount of power/tuning, and the cars had to have the touring car graphics on them, i was quite tempted to post up and join in, but the rover forum people are generally complete dullards, so i never bothered :lol:

dave247 23 September 2009 08:41 PM

Bump it up!

Reminder for you all this comes out tomorrow :D

Neanderthal 24 September 2009 07:43 AM

Bravo2zero_sps 24 September 2009 08:03 AM

Bravo2zero_sps 24 September 2009 11:01 AM

Well it is available now and currently downloading :D

Bravo2zero_sps 24 September 2009 11:48 AM

Oooooh I can't wait for release day :D

Jonnip74 24 September 2009 11:48 AM

What's it like then? As good as we're all hoping for?

Bravo2zero_sps 24 September 2009 11:59 AM

Well I like it! Shame the demo isn't multiplayer to keep us all busy until the full game but will just have to make do with setting fast times (which i'm cr4p at). I like the demo course for looks/scenery although very short and only 2 laps for the races. The selection of cars is good being a demo.

The damage model is good as just tested it out with a bit of destruction derby with the Porsche.

In fact watching the replays i'd say it is visually stunning :cool:

All the assists and damage etc are configurable in the demo as would be expected, not tried the rewind option as no intention of ever using it.

Bravo2zero_sps 24 September 2009 12:06 PM

Oh and there doesn't appear to be a cut off time for the race win so looks like you can drive the wrong way around the track for as long as you like.
