Damn, i suspected the demo had been delayed as i checked online last night and noticed they had uploaded the Wolfenstien demo onto the market place.

Played on simulation difficulty

Quite hard in the Porsche race car when you have to use the left bumper button as a clutch

Graphics look pretty damn smooth and sweet, it seams to play a lot more "grown up"

 

Am i right in saying there are only 4 demo cars to choose from and one track?

 

I think theres slightly more than four cars, but there is only one track.

 

Gah I'm so jealous of you lot. I remember us all hammering the demo of Forza 2 for weeks when it was realeased. Wasn't that only one track? Mugello I think? I thought I wa quite good until RB5 posted his times

Hmm, why do all the cars look like they're made of plastic? It's gone all GT5 and lost some of the (graphical) realism in the process imo.

 

Managed to get a 1:00.902 in the Porker, put me about #2500 on the LB

the clutch is hard to master but i quite enjoy it ,have to remember not to keep the accelerator down for a split second while engaging the clutch and changing up .....brilliant

 

How on earth are people getting 1.03 times in the R8. Just managed a 1.06.560 and into the top 8% but it was on the limit of grip lol

has anyone pre-ordered F3? where is best to go pricewise? is there going to be a special edition version like F2?

 

During the timed lap can you rewind? and if so does you lap time still count?

 

I like this. It will be getting bought on release day

 

I haven't got the demo (smegging broadband!) but I would have hoped the answer to your question is 'no, if you use the rewind then your laptime doesn't count' otherwise it'll make a mockery of the hotlap competitions.

I preordered this ages ago, can't wait! The only problem I foresee is that my wife is due to give birth on the 15th October so I may have to limit my game time slightly, at least for the first couple of weeks

I think i rewound some time last night when trying to get near RB5`s time, and i could have sworn that it still uploaded it

 

I had to use it, as i binned it into the barriers

 

Then that is rubbish, unless when the game comes out you can list the top laptimes and filter out the ones that have used the rewind function.

My broadbands back! but when I fired up the 360 it said there was an update available, so I clicked ok and it installed it, reset itself and now it's stuck on the Xbox 360 logo at the beginning!?!

 

I noticed that when I had my BRM, generally a bunch of oddballs.

 

LOL that was my car in the air if I remeber correctly. Got taken out at sunset infield then set a few scorching laps to end up mixing it again at the front of the pack.

found the demo great fun but would like a wider track to feel the handling a bit better. feels almost he same as Forza 2 so that's a good thing.

looking forward to some SN nights on this. Racing with a sensible bunch in the past was great fun.
