we'll stick by rafa, he's a super manager as quoted by wenger of late and has won more in his time than arsenal have ...... real madrid have been trying to sign him for a couple of years as well.

we dont have fans that go to games with banners calling for the head of their manager..... unlike a certain club down the road.

IF we go out of the CL then we go out and it will be a blow to those yanks.

Idiot post of the week – torres off after 85 mins for another striker with fresh legs – work it out.

If you look at the time it was posted, it was actually at the moment he was taken off, hindsight is an excellent thing.

IF we dont make the top 4 then it may be a problem.

I think Lyon will get something in Italy, then its down to us with Fiorentina.

whats your point exactly? I would have taken him off sooner as he was clearly struggling and largley ineffective in the 2nd half, probably because of his hernia injury

1 win in 10 now. That game on Sat was such a poor standard. Liverpool would have lost against any half decent team. City were as bad. SWP really is overrated.

Okay we are not doing well, we have **** players in some positions.
Our manager is blinkered.
However do not right the team off, come May i reckon Liverpool will be challenging for the CL.
Spurs sooner or later will get a bad result, their wheels will fall off accordingly.
Man City seem not to possess the correct mental aptitude to finish fourth. Villa will be lurking around the top end of the league.
As for Liverpool if we gain a bit more depth in the goal getting department i think we'll be up there.
We need to take a bit more responsibilty in the set piece department that is our main flaw. We have now conceded more goals than any other team in the league from set pieces.
Skrtel(AKA the witch out of Chorlton and the Wheelies) attack the ball instead of watching it!!!(TW@T).
Commenting on the Man city game Agger was injured early on, then Ryan Babel who looked like he was going to play well, went off too.
This would have disrupted any side, Man City didn't have enough to win the game.
As for Ngog, He is out of place and he knows it. Poor boy, his touch is pure poop and all

Liverpool's biggest success under Rafa was a fluke, and he's kept his job for so long on the back of it

Liverpool goal: Shocking defending, but if you support Liverpool, who cares? Fabio Aurelio swings over a ball from the right, Jamie Carragher heads it back across goal and David Ngog reacts quickest to poke it in from a few yards out. Perfect start - over to you, Lyon.

1948: GOAL Debrecen 0-1 Liverpool

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is surprised teams like Barcelona and Liverpool are struggling in this season's Champions League but would be pleased if they failed to qualify for the last 16.

Why would he be pleased if they are so cr@p?

Scores will update automatically

Arsenal 0-0 Standard Liege L
AZ Alkmaar 0-0 Olympiakos L
Barcelona 1-0 Inter Milan L
Debrecen 0-1 Liverpool L
Fiorentina 0-0 Lyon L
Rangers 0-0 VfB Stuttgart L
Rubin Kazan 0-0 Dynamo Kiev R
Unirea Urziceni 0-0 Sevilla L

I'll be back later on to update you all on the Reds latest Houdini act.

Or maybe not.
