The map has the boost configured for an ideal world, some people get slight overboost, some get a little under. Unfortunately, no two cars are the same for wear & tear.
Don't forget, this map is not supposed to be a replacement for a custom ECU and live map; it's a cheap way to run safely on 97 RON SUL with a moderate boost increase.

Is it possible that i'm getting slight detonation (hardly noticeable) with 100 RON fuel? I'm not sure, but i get strange noise while accelerating hard. When i switch back to standard map the noise is still there for few days (but much less noticeable) and then disappears.
Or maybe it's wastegate flutter...
I'm running decat, panel filter, walbro FP. Everything else is stock. Car now has 160k miles.
Edit1: Do you maybe have map suitable for td04 with ignition timing retarded for 95 RON fuel?

No map for 95 RON I'm afraid. 97 only (or above). It seems unlikely to be det as any det you could hear would certainly put the ECU into safe mode and limit the boost assuming that your knock sensor is working. Have you checked the fault codes (if any)?
Using 100 RON fuel would make detonation even less likely.

introduction
Hello there,
I am new to the Scoobynet forums, forgive me if I am not addressing my issues in the correct forum.
I am looking for some information regarding my GF8 96 wrx Jap import wagon.
Having owned it for about 6 months now, I am still battling inconsistent performance.
(Random sluggish acceleration, as though there is a sock in the intake system)
It has run beautifully for a few days in the time I have owned it, giving me the ultimate inspiration to get this baby ripping consistently.
After replacing almost every sensor, plug, fuel system, clean injectors, etc. I am seeking some information on the ECU replacement, it is my last resort!
The current ECU is a 3B, standard intake, exhaust, with a MBC set to around 13psi (just below the fuel cut)
I have my suspicions the ECU has issues, hence my research into a budget friendly replacement.
Through numerous forums I see the Z4 is an option for this, I am wondering if it will be a "plug and play" setup, or will lead me into a whole new bag of upgrades to make it perform.
Any insight or links to forums or ECU alternatives I have missed would be MUCH appreciated.
Regards,
