Default dyno result

Thought I would share my dyno results from today:
car is a 93 wrx
1st set is from last year with a standard down pipe and z4 ecu.

2nd set is from today with decat downpipe and major sarcasm chip on the same rollers.
teeny bit disapointed with the boost. could be down to my car? was expecting upto16psi, got around upto14.5, even in 4th.
still, chip and decat gave a safe run and nice bhp gain and even nicer torque gain.

was a bit gob smacked by the amount of heat soak on the rollers! my homemade intercooler temp monitor showed 50 degrees by 3rd power run. it was showing 15 on the drive down. those fans dont emulate on the road running as much as you'd like!

Quite right, a little disappointed with the boost levels, a tweak on the actuator arm length could help here, just to raise the boost to where it should be (16.5 psi). This would've likely given you the ~280bhp that we were looking for.

The map has the boost configured for an ideal world, some people get slight overboost, some get a little under. Unfortunately, no two cars are the same for wear & tear.

Don't forget, this map is not supposed to be a replacement for a custom ECU and live map; it's a cheap way to run safely on 97 RON SUL with a moderate boost increase.

Nice to know also that Subaru's Z4 is right on the money too i.e. 260PS, ergo 256.4bhp. Your result last year was all but bang on. ... Can't go wrong with 1.4bhp more!
