not keen of facebook/bebo etc which i think is odd as i love forums but there ya go.

I do believe that getting it contact with people who haven't spoke to in years is a waste of time though. The chances are you don't talk for a reason be it you actually didn't like them or you have grown a part so by adding them to a friends list on a social networking site you end up making small talk which later diminishes to both parties being online at the same time and really hoping that the other one doesn't want to chat.

Or is Scoobynet the preserve of the strong willed, independantly thinking, strong minded elite

I used to love one of the multiple choice answers to the question that asked: 'Why are you leaving facebook?'

Something along the lines of "it's caused problems with my social network"

AKA "I'm a bit of a fanny rat and I've added girls that I've bonked and guess what? Yep, a couple of them have spoken and it turns out they thought we were exclusive"

Or

"I added my boss and really should have kept that in mind when updating my status to brag about the sickie I'd just taken off work"
