"Speak to Hodgy, ner ner na ner ner"
You are priceless Matt, you can be wound up like a clock. I'm not all ego like yourself, so I won't reply about whether I have any finance on anything or not (how's the rented house doing by the way?)
When you grow up, you will realise that "success" is a personal measurement, and not based on the type of car you drive or the perceived lifestyle you think you have although I imagine most of us will be underground long before you mature.
But then, you are the one that is correct and it's all of us "SN users" that are ganging up on you, jealous of some idiot with small man syndrome.
Pillock.

Oh **** me, chaps, come on now it is just the Internet and only SN.
Is it worth getting bent out of shape, life is too short. If you cannot get on then use the ignore feature or just do not respond.
Simple as that!
This thread taken completely off course and likely end up locked, is it worth it, honestly is it

^^^^^To say that i hope that does not sound like a wannaabe mod rant, i have just sat down for the first time today and fancied a read of this thread - now stop it and play nice!
BTW there is a bright green one of these with a pushed-together numberplate reading BAD BOY (or so he thinks) lives near me and it looks quite stunning - compared the the new Scoob it makes the scoob look so mundane and ordinary by comparison.

I bought the car in cash. It made a very small dent on our savings thanks. We don't make millions. But we make enough - thanks for the interest though.
And why would I spend £38k on a new one when £21k got me a 2.5 year old 16k,miler still well in warranty? Oh yes, it's all about having the latest reg isn't it? So that the others on the estate can see? Otherwise you would have bought a proper fast car a few years old rather than a hotted cheap hatch. Which is suddenly as fast as a 911 in 95% of situations - oh dear.
The inlaws had a 535d Touring.
You put a lot of effort into that last post but still made stacks of errors, mostly wrong assumptions - now if I were you I'd have a little sit down. Unless you fancy another go? It's liking taking sweets from a toddler. But less cruel and more fun.

And for the record I'd take a Focus RS over a BMW diesel rep mobile any day of the week. A 335i petrol saloon I might think twice about, M3 definitely, but a 335d estate is an old man's car, it's not sporty and it certainly no match for an RS.
Anyway get your ar*e back into NSR so we can slag you off some more in there too Or are you too chicken

Pathetic, yet another post turned into a pissing contest.
Back on topic, what's the official tuning option for an RS? can you add any ponies with an official remap?

Coffin Dodger - by not taking the BMW you are missing a serious car - you may think it is an Old Man's car (like me) but to dismiss it as non-Sporty, or extremely quick point to point is to dismiss a great Q-Car.
I have the heavier 5 series - and even that is a very enjoyable and rapid drive - and my other cars are a 996 GT3 (third in the evo list of greatest driver's cars ) and a Suzuki Swift Sport - all of them are GREAT drivers cars for different reasons.
When the 5 goes a 335d will be very high on the list of potential replacements for real world rapid progress.

Didn't know you had a GT3. You've never said before.

Not much point me arguing with an idiot like Matt, he will beat me with experience.
Besides, just Google his username and enjoy.

What figures were being mentioned, surely another 30bhp would be reasonable to expect from an official tuner? obviously more if going decat and grey market.
