Yeah sounds that way buddy , are you not able to cancel & still get your deposit back ?
As ...
Calvin @ Rates still has cars available for the same build date as mine , only needs a £250 returnable deposit if circumstances do change , maybe worth a call ? but seems you have waited long enough !!

I could cancel however it would end up costing me nearly £2k more due to the price increases and the very small discount I managed to get.
I've waited that long now I may aswell stick with them as much as I'd love to tell them to stick it!

I hardly call 1mph faster v-max @ 2miles and identical 0-100 time as proving anything different as at that point its largely irrelevant even on a track.
Shame they dont show some in-gear stats e.g. 30-70mph.
As you rightly say where the RS does excel is the overall laptime as is only .9 sec off the R26R made for the track.
Oh and I just noticed they reckon the STI was running a 1.25 engine

Its not proving anything different, but I'd say its a more relevant measure of the comparative performance of the RS to the STi, than to suggest the RS is ****e because its slower than a chipped Cupra with less weight and 25% more BHP.

Was taken out for a blat in a new RS last night........
"The scoob will have it in the twisties!"...........I DON'T THINK SO!!!!! Holy **** that thing can handle corners!!!!!
Went round a roundabout at a speed that I know for sure I would not have been able to do in my STi!!
Lovely motor!

But you have started the threads to either slag the car or the owners yet you still have no experience of a high powered ST or RS.
But at least your posts have some opinion, unlike the AWD owners on here that just blanket refuse to believe that a high power FWD car can work.

I believe in all of them.
I've got a 520D Msport - lovely RWD, and a 996TT - 4wd obviously.
I've also got a 167bhp L200. RWD most of the time but 4WD when I want.
I've also had a MK1 Focus RS and absolutely loved it, so much so that I might just get me another. High power FWD is GOOD and it can WORK!
I can see the merit of all of them.
These splinters in my **** really hurt.

You really are a **** Matt, all gob****e and no action.
I don't race on public roads, just keep it to the track so the challenge still stands, feel free to take it or not. I'll even let you have a possible wet day as well so go for the winter dates normally they have them in November.
Or if you want actual roads instead of Cornwalls flat things then we could have a friendly run around Hawes and the Buttertubs pass.

Well we all know you have to ask your Mrs about everything Matt so that bit wouldn't surprise me.
I know you're not the brightest forum user, so I will take my time to spell this out for you. Unlike you who now tells everyone that they own a 335D in every single post you make, you will only see me mention my Focus in two instances, and only in the Other Marques forum:
1. On a thread about the Focus ST or Focus RS when the various bellends on here like yourself comes out with the usual "you must torque steer into every hedge" type comments.
2. On a thread asking which car to buy for X pounds that is practical etc or a thread asking about the Focus ST specifically.
What you wont see is me whoring the Focus in EVERY single thread regardless of the topic in question.
Now I know you and your mrs have had to struggle with an Astra estate for years, and of course you will be happy now Ocean Finance have leant you the money for a 3 year old BMW so of course you will post about it everywhere, and put up a thread all about your new estate with its small wheels.
But on everything else you couldn't be further from the truth.
Please feel free to go back through my posts and prove me wrong - you will never see my type that the Focus ST or RS is quicker than anything else or the fastest car on the road, in fact you may find me saying that as std the ST is quite slow. You may see me say that for 95% of people who drive on normal roads they will be able to get from A to B just as quick in a 911 as they can in an RS or ST as that is true for most people that drive sensibly.
Unlike your good self, you will also not find me post about cars sitting on my bumper and me then "blowing them off" or whatever childish phrase you used the other day.
I never said I can't drive, I just said I'm not the quickest driver on public roads as I tend to stick to track driving for speed and I have plenty of track experience.
As for cars speaking for themselves, you've spent years telling us how you and your mrs make millions running your successful BS business, and that you drove an Astra estate because it was fantastic but you yearned for a BMW. You tell us about your wealthy inlaws and how much cash they have, and about their boats and their 520D estate.
After all that I would really have expected you to have pitched up with a new BMW at the very least. Nothing wrong with a 3 year old car at all, but from someone that is "considerably richer" than everyone else it's a poor show.
You play the big hero now you've finally scraped a few pennies together to buy some old German hack but you won't back that up, you talk about power sliding your BMW around the Cornish roads like some bellend but again its all BS. Meeting up for a track day with other enthusiasts for a bit of fun is hardly going to the back of beyond to meet a stranger is it? There would be other SN users there you know.
If you honestly believe that someone asking you to meet up on a safe trackday for a bit of fun is the embodiment of a chav, versus your offer to come power sliding around Cornwall then you must have an odd belief system is all I can say.
I get the impression Matt that plenty of the SN userbase would be quite happy for you to disappear for good with the complete ****e you come out with on here, whereas the only comments I get are from you and your sidekick Janspeed.
I'm quite happy to be proved wrong with your loyal fanbase though Matt.

No idea Matt, I live in the country and don't have the latest reg so I wouldn't know.
I just would have expected something a little newer from such a huge success as you.
PS I love the "small dent" line, classic Matteeboy BS.
