Mondeo ST diesel, lots of torque, comfortable, nice looking and under £8k could even go for petrol and have 4 wheel drive if youcould afford the fuel bill.

please dont buy zafira they tow jack, if your pulled by the plod they will weigh your trailer fully laden and campare that with your tow vehicle's kerb weight. if the kerb weight is lower then you will have to disconect. and did i read rite your 25? remember check your licence to make sure you can tow that weight as you may have to take another test, similar to the ones some caravaners have to take at the mo. a bmw 5 series is a good weighty item freelanders can be quite light to. you need to do some maths before you buy the towcar. scooby + trailer KG = kerb weight of car you need to buy. please read the cars manual and look for kerb weight before parting with the cash!!!!!!

you could try and find what weight the roger clark team ice car was , that was extreme lightening they even took out the triple skinned sills etc. i dont think its possible on a normal budget to get to there weight but add 50/100 killos should give you a idea of the weight you can get

ill look into the licence thing tomorrow and find out the exact weights these various cars can take think someone posted me a link on all the weights ill look 2 moz.
the kit is very thin and all panels behind the kit have been cut away or removed and replaced with lightweight panels all doors totally gutted and latice braced, plastic windows and rear screen plus everything you have previously seen bolt in cage not a weld in splitters and spoilers carbon fibre inside everything is kevlar or carbon, crossmember removed oem seat mounts removed bracing in boot removed boot floor removed lightweight dash and im 11 stone, it wont weigh much

every single thing on that list has been done and i mean every last thing, plus all the strengthening in the boot lid and the oem seat mounting tunnel (bar that runs horizontaly under seats)l has also been removed. front wings and rear wings are thin fibre glass and my doors are totally hollow with any exterior paneling under the kit removed. and my crrossmember has gone these bits on top of that list i know its going to be light i would have compiled a proper list but you saved me the hassle

your probebly quite right steven,
i am going to leave it as it is for now thow, as it has been corner weighted,
thanks

ps; i will have the graphs for you pretty soon mate, just need to mend the rollers first, edmy has got the turbo spooling very good , eg; it hits 1.9bar @ 4180rpm on rollers, so i would think it would spool even sooner on the road

hey all.
bit quiet on the car front at the moment while darren sculpts the subaru into a more aerodynamic shape, will drop a teaser pic when moulding has finished and its going into primer.
been thinking recently about buying a driving simulator my mate has an x box one but since gran turismo 5 is coming out soon on ps3 and i also have a lap top so i can get the proper sims of the tracks like the race teams use. ive been told these programes are as good as it gets to learn circuits, plan is learn each track week prior to time attack round have a day with phil in my car to get lines perfected and back on the simulator until the round. i went on a silverstone sim at the touring cars on sunday it was f1 though the touring car one was slower and you didnt get to sit in the car like you did with the f1 simulator, so i went on the f1 one and killed myself repeatedly never mind here is what i am looking at
