i cant say too much but there is another hawkeye rolling out of the clinic that is so humungously wide it makes mine look standard
oh man its absolutely criminal, got monster power to match when its done mine becomes the baby, with the fat boy getting ever closer to re-emerging for 2010 will have one of the craziest engine setps for a scoob i know of, dont know if its been done before but its intended to be running so much power it will make your eyes water again i cant say too much but its all very exciting.

None yet! Just weighing up a few options, all depends on how the build goes over the next few months, not a big fan of doing my testing in public but it might end up turning it's first wheel at it's first event, far from ideal!

Now, back to Mat's build

since we began the build i have been trying to get a set of voltex giant cannards for the cyber bumper. the smaller ones are ok but the larger ones are preferable. so after contacting a few places in the usa and trying to speak with voltex directly still no joy, it looked like i would have to make some up myself or try and modify the evo ones
after trawling the net one night i came across vivid racing usa, i then noticed they had a uk office, down the road in gloucester, so i gave them a call and spoke to a very nice chap darren moseley, i e-mailed pics and he said he would speak with the usa office as they stocked some voltex parts, any way today only two days after my initial enquiry i had a phone call back, voltex did not release any of the cyber subaru parts at all outside japan, only the street parts were sold outside japan, but they have contacted voltex direct and they have secured me a set, and we came to an agreement if i put two a4 size stickers on the car they will pay the shipping and the import tax which will be minimal due to size and weight and they will be here in 14 days so i now have these

i can also import the bonnet but that is expensive, trying desperately for weeks to find some bonnet vents that big but no-where seems to stock or make anything like it? can anyone help carbon bonnet boot and doors will be on the 2011 list but this year i just need some bonnet vents like these

do any companies make full proper splitters for the subaru, i have been looking for one for ages, if you own an evo your spoilt for choice, all you have for the scoob are flat pieces of carbon sheet which my nan could make, looking to bolt it to the chassis not bumper

Start with a flat ply splitter for now, you don't have the luxury of developing the car 100% before the season starts. Unless you're doing something to manage the airflow elsewhere on the car, a fancy splitter with diffusers to the front arches isn't going to do a great deal more than a simple splitter.

yeah probably sensible an off would ruin that a treat id imagine, if it was an item i could get hold of with ease it would seem more appealing, my local travis perkins howere is open 7 days a week
the kit has been constructed with huge front side vents for exactly that reason if you have a look a couple of pages bk its als got a rear diffuser fitted now with flat panels underneath
