S206 turbo, 2.1 stroker, 1.9 bar at 4000 rpm on the road. As tested last Friday by owner. Quite quick actually!

I've been wanting the 2.1 with S206 but funds permitting, it'll be a while.
Don't suppose there are any graphs or results of the S206 on a 2.0l is there?
Might buy that to start and when the engine lets go, then go for the 2.1

Spool is likely to be improved with the 2.1 but not necessarily top end flow. I'd say a 2 litre would run very close to it.

I'm looking at options for making the jump from 400->500+bhp, but the number of engine sizes and turbo choices are making my brain hurt

Have you run any S206's on a standard sti EJ207 yet?
My main idea is to get the turbo now, run low boost on road to keep safe but on track turn it up. It'd be interesting to see how long the standard engine will last and hopefully by the time it does let go i should have enough for 2.1 build.

We have one or two out there, but no figures yet. We'll be fitting one to a built 2 litre in a couple of weeks.

Keep us updated on this alan!
Im hoping to have funds available by april next year so Im gonna be looking at either a forged 2.1 stroker rebuild or 2ltr forged rebuild cash depending!
Maybe this turbo would be a bit ott for me but around the 400bhp mark would be nice!
Cant wait to see mervs car at the next sws meetthat should make my mind up for me lol
Very curious about the 2.0 with this turbo though it could twist my arm lol

No offence intended, but i'd really like to see graphs on a 2 ltr before i invest.
Have they been built 2 ltrs or standard sti engines?

We've run a couple of standard STi 8 engines up to 450 bhp using a 195S without the expected failures! I think it might be pushing one a bit to expect anything like 500 bhp being fair..

I didn't suspect it'll be able to run 500hp. But 450 on standard internals sounds great to me
The 195S would be tempting but i do intend on going 2.1 at some point so i could go for the full 500 using the S206 is my hearts desire at the moment.
When you do the built 2 litre, would you be able to get hold of a graph and upload so i (and many others no doubt) could see the spool/power/torque. I know it's not going to represent how a standard sti engine would look with the S206 as it wouldn't handle as much boost.
Cheers Alan, and sorry if the last post came off as a bit rude

I mapped a standard engined sti8 with s206 on Wednesday..
small adjustment needed of actuator as it was adjusted too weak.. but made 412bhp with 10% meth at peak of 1.7bar holding 1.45bar.. hoping adjusting actutor tighter will allow flat boost profile.. didn't drive it but felt fairly rapid on the road.

needs more boost to make the power.. couldn't run more as was aiming for 1.7bar max but it would not hold more than 1.45ish bar due to actuator.. could run more but it would peak higher than 1.7bar then.. standard engine.. etc..
it seemed to spool to 0.5bar fairly early but hold that until into the 4000s and then spool fully.. due to not being able to fully complete the map due to actuator didn't full assess etc

it was a little late and turbo a bit hot lol to adjust at the time
still slightly concerned that it will peak too high still to maintain high boost at top end but will see.
Silver car is going v well.. will be changing the turbo soon
