Still need to sort out the old man's van with you as well. He's gone full out on his own now.

When I removed mine I used warm water and gently cut the double foam tape with dental floss. The remaining glue residue was removed with warm water, rubbing and polishing.
Balsie, you have PM about the badges.

Well..quick update!
Car's been parked in the sun for the last 4 hours so nipped out and they all just flipped off with a finger nail!.... grabbed an alcohol wipe from my toolbox and all clean and tidy with no marks.
now trying to work out a witty sentence using the letters
S U B A R U I M P R E Z A
( and U R A BUS is not an option)

I have seen one debadged completely (Subaru, Impreza Sti) and used the letters to have PTS in the corner where Sti was. His owner found it unique and I guess having a Powerstation upgrade package (330) it made sense

I heated up my badges (the Subaru and Impreza ones) with a hair dryer and they just pulled off. Used some lighter fluid on a rag to remove the glue left on the car
Looks much better IMO

Had some red stripe left so did a bit more, I'm not sure though

Arrggghhhh!
After a great track day at Castle Combe
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmHciwl-ySA
I rushed to change my wheels over from track to road. The nuts were too hot to touch and I stupidly used my electric wrench to put the nuts on. All fine at the rear of the car, but awful at the front. Managed to strip both nut and stud thread on both fronts.
Subaru dealer is going t osplit the hubs and replace some studs on each side. Does anyone know what thread pattern the studs are? I need to find some dome nuts to replace my stripped (rubbish) nuts as I don't want this to happen again!
Demon Tweeks have these "19mm hex open ended head and M12 x 1.5 or M12 x 1.25 thread with a 60 degree tapered fixed seat". Question is will they fit? If not where can I get some nuts to fit the STi? The nuts that cam with the STi wheels are not deep enough.
Thanks

Scooby parts have some
12 X 1.25 thread with a 17mm hex head size
The 60 degree taper is fine but is the thread right?

Ours went in a couple of months ago to have the map mod done by the dealer, they ammitted they had problems reflashing our ecu and when my trusty mapper ( Duncan) checked it the upgrade wasnt on there
so we put it on our selfs.Sorry we havent been on here for a while, busy with other things, will get some more photos up of Harry soon.

BTW, PMSL at the above acronyms

Have you checked the black pipe that connects to the airbox, these have a tendancy to slip off the mounting and will wreck your fueling mixtures, IIRC you also will get a sucking noise.Originally Posted by CP84

just noticed the jubilee clip holding a hose on the turbo was really loose. tightened it back up but it popped off again within 10 mins.
Scooby Regular
I think Duncan recommended spraying the mounting point of the hose with hairspray and it sticks the hose in place.

Bought these a couple of weeks ago but following the engine failure I've lost heart in the car and serioulsy thinking of leaving scooby ownership
