I've been looking through this thread for some inspiration and ideas, their are some really nice cars that people own, it's given me a few ideas for my own. Feel free to post any tips or tricks for the hatch, basically anything that improves it.

Does anyone have the part number for the front fog light bulb?
One of mine is blown.
Many thanks!

Let us know how you get on and which ones you have. LED bulbs usually have a big heat sink and I am not sure it will fit in that space.
I'll most probably buy a single bulb at the same temperature as the OEM one.
Can the bulbs be replaced simply by removing the undertray or the side bumper vents?

I've got the Nighteyes, not tried fitting them yet. I had in mind taking off the surround to get to them, but you might be able to reach from behind too.
Might have a look later today.

I would get a pair if i were you as othewise they will almost certainly be slightly different colour / brighness as bulbs characteristics change over time.

OK, i put one of the nighteyes in, no clearence issues at all. Reached under the wheel liner which was hanging down a bit.

Much brighter and nicer colour, assuming they last i would not hesitate on these and they are cheap as chips lol

The other one is in now and as fpan suggested it's easiest via the side bumper vent.

This is the effect of Nighteye Mains, Fog 6500K and Lunex HID 6000K.
The apparent blue tinge of the HID's is not noticable by eye.

There are a lot of things others wouldn’t see the point of that we do to the cars, the Nighteyes are less than £20.

A few photos from a great day out at Oulton Park with friends recently, I haven't had so much fun on a track since the Forester STi days and I have almost forgotten what AWD is about

Well its been quite a while since I posted about the fog light covers I designed back in March but they are finally into reality and on the car. The next task is to get them into body colour along with a JDM front grille I have waiting to go on 💪🏻

Just picked up a 2012 red uk hatch with 340r upgrade. I've owned a few imprezas including classics, hawkeyes and saloon of similar age so will be fun to see what this one's like.

Nice. Facelift hatches arent very common in comparison to the number of saloons. Coming from classics and hawkeye myself I wouldnt go back after having the hatch

Get the pics up!

I know where their could be one being sold in around a months time, maybe a bit longer, nice mileage for the year, and in superb condition including the underside which looks like its barely been used.

It's got the 340r upgrade and only 40k miles and 3 previous owners so pretty happy with it to be honest.

That looks nice, I'd have the roof bars off though unless you will use them soon.

Quite like them in Red.

I'd be ware of the 340 upgrade though, would be worth having a mapper look at it just to be sure AFR's are good and give it plenty of love with oil changes.

It looks a really nice car with very good mileage, to break up the red a bit they do a lip kit which is a black front lip and black extensions on the side skirts and rear bumper extensions, i think it would look good on your car and give it some contrast to the red,

Front lip I don't mind and was thinking that myself. Never been a fan of sides or rear extensions myself.

That's mine with the lower skirt kit on, they are pretty discrete on the side skirts but give them a contrast.

Any recommendations for a head unit. Car has an android unit fitted but not really my thing. Looking for just a DAB radio and cd player, I'm old. With that any good facias or is std OK with aftermarket units.

Just be careful if you buy a stereo that's come out of another Subaru, the stereo is tied to the ECU of the car that it came out of, if you tried to fit it in your own you'll eventually get a security message on the screen and nothing will work. I've just had similar and the only way round it is to take it to a dealers where it will cost you more than the stereo is worth to get sorted.

You need an adapter or a JDM stereo surround to put a 2 din unit in or there will be a gap around it.
