Yeah I added the dynomat just to quieten down the rear box reverb as I get older...didn't make that much difference in truth

In what way is your boot floor different in the spec C? I would have thought the shell & floor would have been std throughout

The specC appears to have an addition foam spacer that sits on top of the purge canister covers along with a different set of foam spacers for the rear section.

Yeah so it's just what's above the evap covers that is different, so in theory the brace would still fit given it runs under the evap covers 👍

There seems to be more black metal support under the foam insert. I'll try to take a pic as it's not secured currently

The final carpeted Trunk "Floor" in the SpecC is higher than in the UK models
Same Purge Canister covers marked in red would need to be cut as per Gambits original images.
May also need to trim the "spare wheel" insert slightly at its leading ege.

Agree, it does look like ARB bush, i tried to measure it and about 16-17 mm across, so not from the car.

I've got a few parts left over from my hatchback that are of no use.
  • Genuine, new, unused Subaru twinscroll turbo downpipe gasket. £15 posted to a UK address SOLD
  • Genuine, new, unused Pierburg 3-port boost control solenoid with plug and play wiring for 2008 onwards cars. May fit other vehicles with the correct wiring. £60 posted to a UK address.
  • Pitch stopper removed from my old 20th anniversary STi due to upgrading to a GrpN item. Good condition, it has covered 56k miles. £13 posted to a UK address.
  • STi door stickers. Bought from boxer beauty in Australia for my FSTi but turns out they are for an Impreza. Dimensions 38 x 2 cm. £20 posted to a UK address.

Couple of shout outs for West Country businesses.....
Lambs Lectrics of Camborne Cornwall, mobile auto electrician, no nonsense good chap. £60 to drive 2 hours round trip and diagnose my fan electrics.
DL Motorsport, who most of you probably know because of who they formerly were when their Dad ran it as WRC Spares ( classic website! ) They have one of the best ranges of spare parts for GR hatches ( N14), loads of panels, sti parts etc, and they're lovely to deal with

72311SC200
66076SC000
66208SC000

Finding the unit is the tricky bit I found but if you put it on search alert in ebay they turn up every so often but usually not in uk

Has anyone removed the rear roof antenna/aerial from their hatch, i presume you have to drop the headliner to some degree, is it straight forward and how far do you need to drop it to gain access ?

are you looking to replace it?

funnily i had ideas myself of having to do the same when i bought one of these

https://shop.visualgarage.com/produc...rk-fin-antenna

but it turns out you just remove the antenna and then the new fin fits over the base, and then you screw their antenna wire into the top of the base - so no actual need to drop headliner. i havent fitted it yet - just havent got round to it!
