done a bit of hand waxing on my car this evening with the MadCow Candy Wax I picked up at Modified Nationals on Sunday. Applied to all the paint work, I'll let it stand till I'm ready to polish off... or when I've got time to do it again.
I remember reading on here about rear chassis bushes/inserts that are supposed to make a difference to the handling on the Hatch?
Does anybody have a part number? or a link would be even better.
Had a handling pack fitted by AST on Friday:
Power steering mod including steering rack bushes
Front strut brace
Rear upgraded ARB with reinforcing stays
Rear subframe bush inserts
Four wheel alignment
(Also had some other bushes changed on the front arms that were showing wear.
The difference is immediately apparent. Steering feels much more direct and positive. Feels more composed over bumps and uneven ground and less twitchy at speed. Highly recommended. The only slight downside is that the noise from tyres seem to be slightly louder (I might be imaging it though!)
Clyne I can send you the part numbers of the invoice if that helps?

Cheers mate I will do some investigating now to see if they fit the WRX.
out of interest, what does that little lot cost with fitting etc?
The handling pack is 800 including VAT. I had requested the front arm bushes on top so total was 860. This is basically the Litchfields Handling Pack as shown on their website (but slightly cheaper). Ian at Litchfield is currently too busy to fit this kit so he put me in touch with Curtis at AST. In fact Curtis developed it for Litchfield anyway. Great service too! Highly recommended!
Been looking through your pics, that cars looks well smart. I think the wheels and roof wrap really set it off.
Definately like the shape over the older versions. Theyve made some really bad decisions on front ends before. This is
Hi STI500bhp
Thanks for the compliments. Brought it standard from Subaru main dealer. Completely standard and doing bits and bobs to make it my own. Other bits in the post :-) #carbonfibre
