Why not plaster your car in Mongster stickers whilst you're at it?

Just a little suggestion not sure if you have looked into it but have you tried wheel spacers? itll bring those alloys out and compliment the body Imo. loving the look and I think thats all she needs to look spot on.

I went and test drove a 330s on Monday and the dealer offered me £7k for mine, im really concidering it before i shell out any more money on her. £17k for the 330s so £10k cost to change, big dicision.

Nothing wrong with a Euro Import after all every Subaru is an import.

The Euro Import is the smart choice. Same spec, less money.....simples

no, but if it's prices as a 330s.. and marked up as one.. that's a trades description issue.

17K seems a bit steep mate what year and mileage is it?

As for spacers for mine your right but I am hoping to change the tyres for some wider ones (lose the stretch) hopefully that will fill it out more but I may still need some small spacers for the rear.

I've just fitted a new scoobyworld afterburner cat back to my Sti hatch,it sounds great ,have a 3" h&s decat downpipe ready to fit as well.im planning on getting the car mapped in May/June time, would it make more Sence to wait till just before the remap to fit the downpipe??
Also have the old straight through system for sale if any hatch owners are interested? £230 for the lot, here is pics of the system for sale.
I'm told the downpipe is cobra, rear boxes have been removed so it's very loud lol

Agreed 17k sounds steep. I paid 16k for mine with a fresh forged engine and big brakes.

Much more to my taste, rather than bolting bits of the millennium falcon to your car, but I suppose we all have different tastes.

A few pics of my motorsport spec TMIC being built for me by AH Fabrications, it's early days but it's looking good so far and it will be far easier than fitting a FMIC.

Here are some further pics of the TMIC, the quality is looking exceptional and it will almost be a shame to fit it.

Yes it's custom made to order, by AH Fabrications in Hereford and it'll handle my projected power level of 475bhp or thereabouts with ease.

They aren't cheap but neither are the similar units sold by Chevron Motorsport, but it saves having to go down the front mount route.

That TMIC looks great. I prefer the subtlety of not having FMIC too.

However, will it work at high speed if you tracked it etc? I remember old theories that top mounts stopped working after certain speeds.

They are nice bits of kit, the Mishimoto TMIC is also another great looking piece of kit as well.

The core is a special motorsport item designed to work in engine bays which are running high temps, AH Fabrications had to specially order the core in as it's an expensive item in it's own right.

I also have a Zerosports air deflector to fit with the TMIC as well which helps channel air directly onto the core as well.

AH Fabrications have told me that they have every confidence in their build to match or even outperform FMIC's running similar power levels.

I think the scoop which is part of the bonnet helps on the GRB models helps a lot, as on the GCB and GDB models the bonnet scoop always looks like a bit of an afterthought.

Interested in this TMIC setup, but not convinced it can out perform FMIC.

Will still be subject to heat soak, this is a bit of a gamble i think compared to known good FMIC solutions.

Will you have water spray?

Yes it will still be subject to heat soak which badly effects the cheap TMIC's like the factory items, which are designed to a budget rather than to perform as well as possible.

Having spoken to AH Fabrications and knowing some of their client base which includes doing bespoke work for WRC, Touring Car, F1 and other high end motorsport teams I have every confidence in their work.

The price of just the core by itself without the fabrication work etc is already well in excess of the price of the factory fitted Subaru item, the only other item which it can be compared to is the TMIC which Chevron Motorsport sell which is around £2000.
