Hi guys
My car has been at a subaru garage for 10days now getting the parking sensors sorted, mudflaps fitted, the CD changer sorted, and the prodrive springs checked.
I have asked them to check the geometry and put it on fast road settings.
They seem to be having trouble getting the measurements from prodrive. Can anyone help! I am bored of driving an astra hire car.
My wife has offerred me her new allroad. She doesn't understand. Its nice and relatively quick but it doesn't put that smile on my face.
Thanks
Chris

I have tried a different garage this time.
I will try prodrive tomorrow. If it is that easy I am worried about the car.
When I dropped it off on the Friday the alarm went off 6 times from the early hours of the saturday morning.
I did tell them to forget the Geo and I would pick up the car. They told me not to come because the car wasn't ready.
So I didn't go. It is 109 miles.
I am sure there is nothing to worry about????

I think I will phone prodrive tomorrow. Surely they will have the prodrive spring upgrade fast road settings handy?
The subaru dealership has been trying since last week.
It looks I will be getting it back without the GEO.
SO, that will be 2 weeks without my car and still no GEO done.
I can't blame the dealership. If prodrive won't give the figures there is very little they can do.
This is the 6th week this year withour my car. No massive engine work here, no significant change to chassis or brakes. I have had the following done.
PPP
Prodrive springs
Parking sensor fiasco
service
mudflaps
new windscreen wipers
auto dimming rear view mirror
cd changer fixed?
Still no GEO after the prodrive springs were fitted.
6 weeks seems slightly excessive.
I would have thought a morning and part of an afternoon would be sufficient.
I am not driving that bloody astra tomorrow, sod it I am going to cycle.

Chris,
Here's the geo settings that came with my Prodrive spring kit:
Minimum / Preferred / Maximum
Front camber: -0*50' / -0*55' / -1*00'
(for very aggresive use take this to max on adjustment approx -1*30')
Front toe-in (total): 0*08' / 0*10' / 0*12'
Front caster: 6*25' (Referential value)
Rear camber: -1*35' (Referential value)
Rear toe-in (total): 0*16' / 0*20' / 0*22'
Thrust angle: -0*01' / 0*00' / 0*01'
Hope that helps,
Neil

Update to the Ipod Sat nav saga
I have a 09 330s and purchased the kit from US on the 4th of Aug it just arrived yesterday. The kit I ordered was "H621SSC200" comes with fitting instructions for the Impreza. So tonight I connected it up. Ipod shows it is charging and shows the subaru sign on the display but I can't get it play as no SAT button, so don't know where to go from there.
The Original Menu
After The Disc is Changed
My Ipod Classic shows this
The New Audio Menu
and the sat nav is now USA
So there must be a way of doing this.

If anyone from the south east is thinking about getting Prodrive Springs fitted, I have a set available. Only fitted for about 500 miles, removed by Subaru dealer.
I would rather someone picked them up as they would be heavy to post! I am in Bromley, Kent. £125 sound reasonable?
Cheers!
NOW SOLD!

Bliss
I have my car back.
Springs and parking sensors sorted. BUT most importantly the fast road settings have transformed the car. Turn in has improved massively. It must have been miles out before the Geo.
The mudflaps work too.
I am very happy

thats what i thought.
been offered another 330s today in met grey with only 100 miles.
what would you guys think is a fair price to px my rb320 in against it?
(my rb320 has only done 5400 miles with leather/alcantara and alcon brake upgrade)
