Search on ebay for the Zun mesh. a fair bit cheaper than ordering direct.

Need the Bluetooth kit mate. Just plugs into the back of the Nav and then you can access the phone menu via the screen.

I had the bluetooth option fitted a while ago & it seems to work fine.
My mic is situated on the top of the steering column and back seat passengers can converse with whoever is on the phone with no problem.
The audio is automatically muted when the phone is in use and the sound from the cars speaker system is fine. I think the volume can be adjusted from 1 to 5. Mine is set at 2 and works well.

Downloading your phone book from phone to sat nav is simple and is a useful tool as you can then select a name to dial from the sat nav screen. As with DVD player, certain phone functions via the screen are disabled when the car is moving.

I have noticed that when you recieve calls from someone who is in your phones phone book, the sat nav only displays the caller number not the name. The only way around this is to then assign a name to the number and add it to the phone book but then you get duplicate records.

Recieving a call whilst on the move is just one touch of the sat nav screen and you are then completely hands free so if it stops you getting points on your licence then I thinks its worth the money to install ( Not that I would ever use a phone, even hands free, whilst driving anyway)

Hope this helps.

No, they only control the audio functions.

My vote would be for black but I'm not a big fan of shiny stuff.

I have the Rev splitter fitted. Mine was one of the first so not that great. It needed re-fibreglassing on the corners where is goes from the side of the bumper to underneath, to fill the gap you get. The paint was barely attached even tho it wasn't supposed to be a top coat, and there were a few other things......

However they have been working on improving them so I would say it would be worth a go............ they are less than half the price

Default All booked

My little STi is booked in for it's 10k service on Friday of next week. Whilst its there they are going to pop on the PPP. And I said I wasn't going to mod this car!

(wheels, tyres, suspension and now a little bit of power, just some proper stoppers to go now :-))

LOL I agree mate, changed mine over to the smaller JDM spec STI ones (got them from Ian at Litchfields)

Hope you enjoy the car, I recommend you get the upgraded rear arb and rear subframe bushes fitted before you start giving it some mate (and the Litchfield power steering mod if you have the time/cash)...makes a huge difference on the hatch

Rear 22mm ARB kit (Whiteline BSR49XZ) and rear subframe bush kit (Whiteline KDT902) for circa £180.

Easy to DIY fit if you're that way inclined. Trolley jack, axle stands, socket set and allow a couple of hours.

Totally agree with Dave, the ARB kit and the subframe bushes alone make a huge (+ve) difference to the car.

Haven't had the steering rack mod done as live too far away to make it viable at the moment but it could only be a good thing IMO. Seem to remember reading earlier in this thread that it costs £45 ish? I could be wrong though.

How much difference does the front splitter make to the handling / feel of the car??

Rev dont do 1 for the WRX yet and the genuine part is £350.
