Only on a classic mate, OEM one lightened by ASP from arounf 12 KG to about 6-7 KG IIRC.
Still smooth pull away / idle, seemed quicker on accelleration.
If you have any rough idle / roughness off boost the lighter flywheel will make it seem worse.
Recommendations - AP billet steel flywheel ( keep sensible weight unles racing i.e. avoid the 4 kg ones! ) with organic clutch assay kit.

Utterly Awesome in the dry, The grip level is beyond anything I've ever experienced. Although they are very bloody noisey on the road.
In the wet its a change of story, if pushing on it tends to wander on hard cornering but not too bad really. But being fair that was before I scrubbed them in

did the 2009 hatches have a 'hill start assist' as ive noticed mine holds the brakes on for a second or two once you lift off the brake pedal to pull off from a hill?
Thx
I had one on a previous modded 2lt and it was a great mod but tbh ET had advised me to keep it standard on the 2.5 some time ago (esp as its a road car)...
So the oem 2.5lt flywheel - best price from where ?
Any other views on updated clutches....
Powerstation said they used the Helix Organic single plate clutches on the T25 cars, fully aware that they wouldn't last so long, but that being in preference to a twin plate ....
The jury's still out

Mine was just and STI not a 330s, but yes the Premium Euro spec is essentially what IM used as a base for the 330s, except they we ordered I think with the standard 17's and IM fitted the Lustic 18's, alarm etc. The Euro Premuims came with BBS.

These are the option codes for all European Imprezas for.......

A few quick questions Guys hopefully someone can help, I'm looking at a couple of mods for the sti, first off a set of rota grids, 18x9.5 will these fit without rolling the arches? And secondly I'm wanting a set of bluebat overlays for the rear lights so I was going to change the rear fog and try to source a clear one question is would a red bulb be bright enough to work as a fog?
Thanks guys

72mth service
My car is due its 72 month service and I am thinking of going to subaru 4 you, as they are lose and have a good rep.
Looking at what is included they use Motul 15w50w or Millers 10w60w, which one should I go for and is the oil ok for a mapped Sti.
Thanks baz

I can supply clear fog lamps though my work & yes you can fit a red led for the rear fog or you could go down the route like myself and fit led reflectors for the fogs.

I'm not to sure about the offset, I was looking at 18x 8.5 aswel again not sure on the offset but I want something that will fill the arches.
Now much are the clear rear fogs?
Thanks Scott

Can anyone point me in the right direction to an aftermarket bush for the rear lower arms where it connects to the hub? I twisted and turned mine whilst trying to fit my new dampers and now on the motorway or hard turns I'm getting a shimmy from the rear end of the car. I guess it might also be rear subframe bushes as I'm now using stiffer suspension but I worked this bush so much during fitting I think it might be the culprit

I had a set replaced under warranty, the replacement set were showing signs of corrosion in about 12 months.
