Can anyone recommend and droplinks for the hatch, just had my 4 year service and they are on their way out, and are they easy to fit without the need for geo?

Cheers

hi peeps got a bit of a problem, I have a 08 wrx sti my front passenger side strut it knocking, to replace one strut is £555 so do i just bend over or should i go for a set of bk racing coilovers since there a tad more expensive but replaces the full lot. TBH im not to keen on coilovers I'm worried about the quality of the ride and i do load the car up at least once a week. There was a set of 2012 oem sti struts and springs up for sale for a while but typical luck he has withdrew them from sale they would have been ideal, so suggestions please

Having just removed a set of BC's and replaced them with Bilstein B16's, I can honestly say I can't recommend them. Within a year of having them fitted, the front two struts were knocking quite badly. The ride is overly firm and pretty unforgiving. You get what you pay for and this is evident in the new Bilsteins; the ride is so much smoother and the handling is vastly improved. If you can wait, I believe Litchfield have a new strut and spring set up from Bilstein in development that doesn't cost anywhere near the price I paid for the coilovers. Iain mentioned pricing around £900 but they won't be available for another month or so. Probably worth waiting for as Litchfield are all over stuff for the hatch.

Cant Knock the BC's in all honesty. You must have been unlucky. I run 6kg 8kg spring rates 15 clicks from soft, 60,000 miles on those and no hint of a knock in sight, as far as I'm concerned if they failed tomorrow they've served me well & i'd buy another set

Just my opinion, Infact come to mind mine were the first set of BC's ever fitted to a hatch in the uk as they had to be ordered in for me

Just broken the front splitter (oem Sti lip) on a 6" high garden wall...

Don't think I'm willing to shell out £350 + to Subaru again so what are the preferred options ?

Any better looking lips ? Was there some photos back on Page ???

What can you recommend ?

I guess the oem Sti piece is repairable - clean break - but the time removing it and repairing would equate to a cheaper replacement I guess

Thinking of sorting out some winter wheels and tyres. Anyone selling any GT1's in anthracite 18" x 7.5" PCD 100 ET53? (WRXS).
Anyone with any feed back on winter tyres?
Thanks.
