I'll have the OEM Kenwood hands free kit up for sale which is now discontinued, if anyones after one.
Cheers
Mark.

Oh ok, cheers Rob. So all in all, pretty much a straight forward bolt-up affair then. I've actually just opted to pay the £15 fee to Scoobyworld to pre-set them up for me. I'm actually thinking of wrapping the threads in some Denso tape once I'm happy with the set-up, I know its a bit OTT and not very asthetic pleasing, mind lol. But I'll look into that spray, but I already have the tape. Rob, do you know if the rear strut's lower mounts have slotted holes for camber adjustment on the BR Series, or not?
If anyone's after first refusal before ebay I have a set of Bilstein dampers and eibach springs which are standard fit on the cosworth cs400 sti.
They are a direct swap for dampers on any hatch be it wrx, wrx-s or sti. I've spoken to a lot of dealerships and technicians to confirm this. You will need to use your existing top mounts for the fronts though. I will include spring compressors in the sale.
The springs drop the ride height 15mm from standard sti and the dampers are a better ride under normal circumstances but harder when put under stress. They are a number of thousands of pounds if bought through subaru.
They are used with low mileage. I bought them only a few days ago but after taking delivery of them I have just emptied my savings paying a vet bill and am sadly having to sell every non essential thing I own to pay for it. I was looking forward to fitting these this week and even bought a new breaker bar and spring compressors in order to fit them. Someone else will make use of them I'm sure.
Pm any queries. They're on ebay in around a week from today.

I must say my STi dampers with the Prodrive/eibachs give a lot better ride than std springs.. they drop the car only 10mm

No Rob, I know the BC rears don't have adjustable top mounts, my question was, are the holes on the rear's lower brackets slotted to allow for camber adjustment. They were on the D2's that I got for my my old '54 plate blobeye.
Scooby Regular
The rears on the hatch are pure coil over shocks, slotting the lower bracket would make no difference (if you could :-) )

Ohhhhhh bollards! They've changed the design of the lower connection a bit there then since the blolbeyes. ...On the blobs the rears had a 2-bolt lower bracket which was quite similar to the front. Similar again, infact to the front on the hatches. So can any kind of camber adjustment be achieved on the rear then, without resorting to adjustable lower control arms?

My mistake I read that as top mounts. Long day of graft yesterday. No they don't use camber slots in the bottom. If you want to adjust the cambers of the rear wheels either change the lower arm assy to an adjustable type but you'll need the tie rod to in order to get the toe set right. Or you can fit a power flex upper rear arm camber bush kit.

Mine have started knocking and will be replaced according to the dealer... so if they're just going to friggin' go again I'm going to need to delay the fitment as long as possible and save up for an upgrade as I'd want to keep the originals in a box somewhere.
Shame I ain't got the dorrah to take those Ohlins off Imy right now.
I don't think the fault is guaranteed in all of them. Its very unusual for a Bilstein product to go faulty, let alone an entire series of the same damper and especially not for a damper on a production car. I'd say only 2 or 3 sets have been unfortunate enough to go wrong. The same can be said for the car I used to own the mazda 3 mps. The top mounts on some of them broke and causes suspension rattle. But this didn't happen on all of them. Luck of the draw.

Have to say hand on heart I only noticed the knocking on the way back from the Ormskirk motorfest this weekend just gone.

Seem to have been a few of them according to the Cosworth thread on the main page but yeah must have been a bad batch of them. Dealer said it was easily sorted by replacing them.

I thought my knocking was just brake drag from overwashing .If it weren't for the failures being mentioned so often I wouldn't have noticed so soon.Lets hope the new ones are gonna be ok,seeing as they fail so soon it shouldn't take long to tell. How long have you been quoted to wait I have heard nothing since Tuesday.

I have to say I'm surprised that a whole set of Bilsteins are going off they're supposed to be right up there with the best.
As I mentioned before, I'm quite tempted to delay the fitment of the new ones as long as possible and the moment I get home stick a set of Ohlins on or something.
Gave mine a quick wash
