Anyone else get an annoying creaky squeaky noise from the compartment between the two front seats?
It seems to be temporarily cured by opening the lift up arm-rest lid to full open.
But on closing the lid it goes back to this small annoying noise, it's not loud but it does bug me.
Driving with my elbow resting on the armrest also stops it, but this isn't ideal!
I've tried everything i can think of from putting little pads where it closes onto, and lubricating all moving parts but it still squeaks!
is it a known problem and is there a cure? help!

MUDFLAP!!

RallyArmor are $155 + $46 delivery (plus tax/import duty) so too expensive.

The ones on Hughy's car from performace solutions need drilling into the wheel wing arch (not the inner wheel arch) the plastic of the car... Not fancing doing that.

So is there any others or am I looking now at the ones from EvoBits
http://www.evobits.co.uk/index.php?r...product_id=185
or
http://www.evobits.co.uk/index.php?r...product_id=186

as these require no drilling being designed like the Version 1 Rally Armor flaps.

anyone got them fitted?

Well I fitted the bulbs I got from salsa well was it fitted or fishing dident get any pics as I ended up dropping one off the bulbs in the head light and was fishing for a good 60 mins but I got it out in the end I found it was eser to pull out the side vent on the front bumper to change the bulbs rather than going in from the arch will try and get pics up soon

I've got the Evobits PVC ones, the front ones fit with a supplied bracket. You have to remove the plastic part of the wings (the bit that fits under the silver STI strip) and drop the side skirt slightly in order to fit the bracket.

The front mud flaps look good

The rears dont come with any fittings so you have to screw them into the arch liner plastic (so you're making new holes). The rears were a pain in the backside to get them looking straight, in fact they arent straight on my car!

The bag of nuts and bolts supplied with the mudflaps were completely useless, either too small or too long so I binned them and used my own. They have been on the car around 12 months now, the STI logo still looks good and isnt peeling anywhere. At the time I remember having to chase Evobits after paying they took 4 weeks to arrive!

If the rears came with a bracket of some sort I think I'd recommend them. I'm actually going to buy some RA ones as they dont look as "floppy" and seem to come with the required brackets.
