Hi guys, just registered here - after spending some time reading the whole thread!
I recently got myself an STi 330S Hatch. I previously had a 2006 STi with quite a few mods, and decided it was time to change after having some expensive engine problems in the past year.

The hatch will be basically a winter & weekend car, with the bike being the vehicle of choice for commuting most of the year.
Anyway I'm thoroughly enjoying the hatch so far, picture below.

I do have a quick exhaust question. Been thinking about changing the center section pipe on my 330S for a deresonated one - purely for the extra sound. Will this require a remap? With so many engine problems reported I don't want to make any risky changes!

The V-Limited is out of stock, I hope they dont mean discontinued

So where do these mount? Thinking of making the fog light on my wife's hatch a reversing light, so maybe this is a solution to that?

They're all good Rob, did I forget to tell you mine sailed through it's MOT with them fitted?

They fit in place of the standard reflectors on the bumper. They are actually a reflector but with an LED array built in behind the lens. Making the stock fog another reverse light is the way to go. Have a look back through this thread for my posts on which reversing bulbs to go for, they're superb!

HTH,

Neil

Loving them Rob very trick, if I still had the hatch they would be on their way for sure, two reversing lights is the way to go.

Think I can sort the wiring OK though, otherwise I'd better give up my day job

if you remove the battery overnight it shouldnt lose the code, but let the nav boot up before starting the engine. Has been known to go a bit funny whilst it communicates with the vehicle ecu

the sat nav will communicate via canbus to the ecu and request it's own security. Its important you do not start the vehicle while it re-boots or you'll have to go to the dealer for them to gain security access to it again.

My Hatch won't go tw weeks without going flat it it's not driven.

It even went almost flat (I couldn't start it) the Monday before Xmas I used the car.. parked it on the drive, came to drive it on the Friday after Xmas (4days) and it wouldn't fire up.

Got it on the above charger and its fine.

PDI report on my 330S said OEM battery was dead on arrival!

It's now got a Varta from the supplying Subaru dealer, which has been fine, staying live even if not touched for 2 weeks + when I am away on hols..
