Wonder if this is the same as the recently released kit for the GR from Bilstein/GTWorx in the US.

Not sure their is one, remember this coming up a few years back and people were having trouble getting them refurbed as the paint (iirc) had something in it which you needed special breathing equipment to spray so not many places could do them.

I'm sure I recall seeing someone getting theirs done though so they may be along soon.

Mine has only got 15K on it!
And has clutch issues too - got to leave it to my dealer for them to look at it, as the bite point is very high once the car is warm

Tried every thing to get a paint code for these when I damaged one (chips away wouldn't event look at them) in the end I ended up buying another wheel to replace the damaged rim. When the others started to lift around the centre caps I had the full set powder coated, in what was called black chrome and when parked next to my mates car with same wheels on you couldn't see any differance between the 2 set of wheels. Apart from mine are coated right through rather than being plain alloy behind the spokes.

I now know that Subaru are replacing the wheels where the paint is lifting under Warranty, but not until I had paid for mine to be powder coated.

I even brought a spare set of 330S rims off here that have never been on a car and are still boxed and in garage should I need them.

so didn't get round to doing everything I wanted as I was jumped by 3 lads on a night out on Friday and spent the afternoon Saturday in A & E I only managed to get round to working on the car on Sunday but I hope you like.

So to do was,

remove the "Subaru" and "impreza" badging on the boot
fit centre overlays
fit outer clusters that rob kindly fitted the overlays for me
fit R205 sti fender badges
Fit a set of Rally Armour mud flaps

here is the out come, although the detail on the flaps hasn't come out as well i hoped but you get the idea

close up of the remaining badges and light overlays

and one of the flaps and R205 badges

more to follow with next months pay check

Big improvement - surprised you didn't go with the JDM clear fog cluster though.

Sorry to hear you got set upon, hope there's not much damage apart from your pride - usually the worst aspect of being on the receiving end IMO.

Default Yet another engine failure

People, add my 330s (39K) to the list. Yes 3 weeks or so ago the engine management light came on and the car sounded decidedly rough i.e. missing. Had the mechanic have a look and 50 psi on No 2 piston. Ended up rings and piston gone and a engine full of metal fillings. £4k to put right. Have now traded it in for a Focus RS. (after the rebuild). Wake up Subaru as you are loosing customers faster than you getting them!!!!

Thanks mate, really happy with how it's all coming along. Few tweaks left and then it's done till the warranty runs out.

Jdm fog?

It's cool, was trying to help someone and a guy took it wrong called his mates and then jumped me, been training in martial arts for 5 odd years but if you don't see it coming then what can you do. I'm cool just sick of soup lol

Thanks Rob, again i appreciate your help with the lights, yeah I'm sure they will at some point but it won't have anything to do with me, life is far to short and i could of got it a lot worse especially in this day an age, could of had my head stamped on or stabbed so counting it as a lucky one.

Yeah, the JDM hatches don't have a rear fog so both clusters are clear rather than 1 side clear the other side red. You retain UK fog functionality by installing a red LED bulb in your new clear cluster. Really cleans the back end up and most of the cars in this thread have done it so you can look a some pics for reference. Litchfield used to sell them by the truck load, not sure if that's still the case but definitely worth a call.

HTH, Neil
