Peoples opinion needed please! I changed the wheels on my hatch to prodrive gt1's and now the car doesnt seem to be quite right. The car seems to pull out of line when i accelerate hard and also it seems to snake a bit when i brake, anyone else had this problem?. The only thing i can think of is the tyres cos i put some real cheap ones on there (Anyone heard of Falken?). I phoned subaru dealer and he seemed to think it was torque steer!!!! Anyone have any thoughts on this? Also the brakes make a lot of clunking noises at low speeds.

I am coming on sat but i havent got around to putting my name on list.

Quote: they said to post copy of the logbook and copy my passport and they will send out the manual and service book with warranty papers same as my last 2 subaru i had from them.I called them up today to find out if it is fitted with the alarm and tracker the sales man i dealed with is out they said he will call me back.I will let khow what happens as soon as they get back to me.hoping they will pay for alarm and tracker if there is one not fitted.
The salesman called me back he said its not fitted with one he advised to write a complain letter to the company.
Its been four weeks I wrote a complain letter to the company I guess they dont want to know does matter. I have had a tracker fitted anyway. Its the last time I buy a car off motordepot.

Yes i was tempted by the prices which are great but the red one was covered in swirls and he said thay all come like that ""

although 22.5 k was a great price for a sti similar spec to a 330s

the warrent issue was my bigest concern with it being in their showroom for 6 months so only 2 and a half year s remaing

glad i got a deisel in the end with the mileage im putting on at the moment

Hi Azir
I'm still waiting for my warranty and service book from Motor Depot. The problem is the company in Cyprus from which they were imported has stopped trading! So there is no one to register the warranties. Motor Depot S****horpe where I got mine from, said they will cover any warranty work until its resolved.

Iv just call the company up regarding the warranty and service book now he saying it can take up 8 weeks still not telling me about the problem in cyprus.
I am going to wait and see what happens.

I'm sure you'll find you'll be in the same boat as me

I was lucky enough to get my ECU update done under warranty at the Gratham dealer.

I tried contacting Subaru UK to register the warranty, but they said it needs to be done by the original dealer. Bit tricky when they have gone bust!
