Had mine a few months now, heres some pics... and questions

Does anyone know what type/ brand/ etc my exhaust is? I might be better off posting a video of it, basically there is no backbox, its very loud and looks like the Cat is still there.

Also, does the car come with a dump valve as standard? mine has one but no idea what it is, where exactly does the DV sit in my car? does the engine bay pic help?

I know there are some Subaru Techies on here, would someone on here be able to give me some info on the history of the car? I bought it from an auction and have no idea on mods or if its ever had a new engine etc. Maybe its previously belonged to someone on here?

Welcome along to the fold fella, cannot answer on the exhaust but yes it does have a dump valve as standard, its the round thing bottom left of the intercooler by the 2 black metal pipes.

See you'll be on the look out for a new lip too.

Hi mate,

No idea what exhaust is on your car, take a couple of pics from the back and of the underside so we can see the pipework.

The dump valve is the thing on the front right corner of the intercooler in your pic, looks like a standard recirculating one to me. (Circled in red)

For history on the car, send a PM to Rob (rob84) and ask if he can look at the database for service history, warranty work etc.

HTH,

Neil

No worries, ref the the lip, you can get a replica one for Sub £120 so probably a better option.

Try Revolution247.com.

Has anyone had any issues with there dccd ? It's locked mode and just keeps flashing and doesn't respond if i try and change the setting. I had a similar issue with a hawk once and it's thrown up the same error code which is p1767 steering wheel angle sensor. On the hawk it's part of the clock spring does anyone know if it's the same with the GRB (HATCH)?

They look good. Did you have them sprayed black? Don't they usually come finished in silver?

What you guys think about this rear carbon diffuser. Am planning on buying it for the R205 The standard R205 diffuser will go under it.

It helps vent the hot engine bay air out. The slots along the top of the inner wings allow engine air into the wing space (where the CAI is !!!) and this helps draw it out. I am doing a duct through the o/s fog light to get ACTUAL cold air to the CAI and a couple of other minor mods to help flow hot air out. With TM oil cooler under the bonnet as well, I reckon any help to reduce under bonnet temps has got to be good

Std design for CAI is not as good as I thought as its still drawing in hot engine bay air

Long but interesting read:
