Rob..not sure about the spolier

StikE, looks like I just need the SatNav handbook then, got everything else.

and this is now my new best friend SUL @ £1.33 a litre

driven back from Lichfield to Nottm tonight and saw 29.8mpg on the display.. just about all the way back. had a blinkin gritter lorry on the a50, tried to get by, but it had so much grit being thrown over the car was frightened of loads of stone chips, so I held back and waited till I could pull off at a slip road then go round and re join the a50 in front of it, the power came into its own then.

£240 for the spoiler + £10 P&P Came off Ebay from a company in yorkshire
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=260719301124

£160 to have it painted so got the Grille on the front done too, wrx Spoiler was FOC from work so had that sprayed too. Decals from Gary @ SubaruBits.co.uk for £10

Willie from National windowscreens bonded the spoiler onto the rear window for £10

It does come with mounting brackets which fold around the glass which are pretty poor, So I set about and made 4 new brackets out of 2.5 mm alloy plate, Fitted some vulcanised rubber to the plate so it didnt touch the glass and bent it round and riveted it to the inside of the boot lid & what with the bonding it doesnt move and inch.

how do i set itt to lock doors when you start the car etc?
How can i get it to auto lock when the last door's been closed?

yeah the standard sti spoiler was too much so I opted for the wrx one

the view from the mirror is actually very good, the middle part of the spoiler is pretty much at the top of the rear window when your at in the drivers seat, so I can still seee everything as before

Keypad should be where your right knee is when sat in the car in the flip down panel in the dash.

Safety Lock
Turn on the ignition
Press 7 on the keypad
Turn off the ignition

auto lock is as follows

Auto arm with door locking 60 seconds after the last door has been closed, Note make sure keys arnt in the vehicle.

*17856 wait for the beep *004*1# turns it on. everytime a door is opened it will beep twice to inform you that its active.

If i recall the coding is the same as the standard key type, if it doesnt work after trying those codes then I'll request some detailed information

TNX Rob,
I had it on my last scoob, its quite good to have, saves you forgetting to press th ebutton on th edoor.
will hunt for the flip down flap tomorre, why wasn't i told about it by the dealer?
and when you say turn ignistion on, you mean press the button to get the amber light (ie: don't press the clutch and pree button to turn engine on)

Does the 330s have a quick shift, as ger changes seem really tight and close together.

driving it is a dream, even on the 19"s the ride isn't as hard *** my Smart car lol
My wife like it too, she did stall it twice..only through lack of revs.. once she got into it there were no problems. Its just reembering there's no key to try and start it. lol

dont press the clutch, make sure the ignition comes fully on. I.E double press the engine button. dealer probs doesnt expect it to have one fitted.

no the 330s doesnt have quickshift, the 6spd is naturally quite close to start with

will try it out when I get home tonight.

auto door lock when you start the car sounds a good feature to have.

Congratulations on the 330S purchases!

2nd'd, fine for when I'm on my own and the card full of bows and rfiles, but for a run down the shops at lunch its pigging annoying.

And I couldn't possibly say if I've locked colleagues in the car by accident!

I was just thinking that you could get absolutely load of them on a DVD.
Sadly it doesn't work - just says check disc.
I burnt some MP3's onto a DVD yesterday - I burnt it as a data disc

After reading your post i just had to give it a bash & seeing how i am on a slack day.................

It does work but you must burn to dvd in mp3 format & not data format.
I used nero to make a jukebox mp3 dvd, dropped dozens of albums onto the disc.

Make sure you create folders for the different albums, normal desktop folders.
Name the folder say ABBA then the next one AC/DC it will then show up on the touch screen.

If you just drop all the songs onto the dvd without folders you will have thousands of songs to run through.

Works perfectly

I've done a bit of snow foaming when I got home tonight. used my £35 jet wash from HALFORDS as well, works a tread, not to powerfull and light weight it's easy to move round.

car needed a wash after all the road grit thrown up from a gritter on Sunday night.

I got a "snow foam" gun to use with the hosepipe on a hozelock fitting, as I don't get the power washer out ofter. Foams OK but doesn't stick for long.

Using some stuff from Polished Bliss, thinks it Meguirs.

I know this is a hatches thread but what do people think of the MY11 saloon? I actually think it looks pretty sweet in white:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...1104378182668/

Bit Evo-esque at the rear and Id probably still pick a hatch due to practicality but I do like the new saloon.
