Default STRUT BRACE

Morning All,
I just finished fitting my new Summit front strut brace this morning, really looks great and is the finishing part to my handling set up. I'm really pleased with it and yes, I can feel it working

I love following this thread even though I dont even own one or any Scoob at the mo lol.

Excellent colour choice Phil & StrikE. I very rarely see any STI hatches around here. In fact GTR's are more common with at least 5 regulars I see on my short 7 mile drive to work

Get some pics up

The sidelights are changed from inside the wheel arch, you can't see it's all down to feel. Take care on the sidelights as when I did mine didn't get the led bulb in straight and when I pulled out the holder to fix it I knocked the bulb out of the holder in to the headlight and I had to take off the bumper to get the headlight out to get the led bulb out. While you're doing that you could change the indicators to silver ones at the same time, both behind the arch cover.

Looks great Phil.

Sidelights are a bit fiddly to change but did mine in 10 mins through the arches.

You don't have take the arch out just undo 2 or 3 clips in the wheel arch and 1 underneath on the bumper and pull it out of the way. I fitted some that had 5/6 LEDs but are only about 25/30 mm long not sure how they will look when they're not on as you can see all the bulb and they look a bit long, you can only try it.

Default FRONT SPLITTER

Hi All,
I'm thinking of putting a front splitter on the car and wanted to know who has what?? make, model, price etc and maybe a photo as well

I just think it needs it to finish off the front end

Also thinking of changing the pro drive system for something with a little more rubble, again, what you got? make, model, price etc

Salsa:- Looking good, bet your over the moon

Cheers
Ian

Was just perusing Subaru.co.uk - do they not make a WRX any more and do they not offer the new STI in white?

They still do the basic Impreza.
They've finished with the Impreza WRX (+S) so you can only buy the STi (as the sports cars)

They've also dropped the name impreza for the new MY11 car, so its now named WRX STi.

The new MY11 cars come in Satin White (like a peal finish)

where as before you could get Pure White.

StrikE, good choice in colour!!
you've something I'd of like.. the RPS's.

do you have a hand book then thats just for the 330s/STi too?

I have the impreza one, but doesn't say too much about this car. i know I've not got the headunit hand book
other than that I'm all ok

Think they been dicontuined now, should be able to pick one up on ebay or here second hand, i paid 12.00 quid delivered.

Depending on your budget i did find another good boost gauge soultion here:

http://www.j-spectuning.com/product_...roducts_id/186

Good thing with this gauge is that the needle colour matchs the 08 sti dash, also come with a 45mm pod as well...
