Been toying with remap, but with 18months of warranty its a risk, even though engine had a warranty rebuild in April

Hi all,
I bought some sparkies during an engine rebuild, but scoobclinic had some new one's fitted when I had my car done so they're just sitting around.
They are ILFR6B Laser Iridium's for 2.5, still boxed. Paid £40 for them, selling them for £30.
Im in Telford so if you can collect, £30, if not, I'll post them and create a paypal account.
PM if you're interested

the white STi I've enquired about to day... well, its now £20500, 09plate 22k miles. with 18".
TBH.. there are lower mile cars out there with PPP at the same age and price. but not in white lol
PLUS I wanted to spend about another £2k (an extra 2yr warranty/Fog lights/park sensors/road Tax)
all i can say is the offer on the table was there but there was no budging on price to make the deal happen. I'm looking for a fair deal and a fair offer on my car as Px, so far they are offering bottom book on a car that's well looked after (my car as in sig, 2004 54plate with only 14147 miles as new).
there seem no point looking after your car when appearance and loving care taken with the car don't even come into the equation..... you can Px a shed and get £2k lol
You'd think enough could be found to offset a deal on the mark up they make on the car they take in when they'll no doubt pay bottom book price.. that way I feel I'm not having my pants ripped down and spanked with a knotted rope.

If you want to give a dealer below asking price for their car they will only give you the rock bottom for your car. How much are you expecting for yours?Originally Posted by salsa-king

Thats the thing, I've not asked for them to reduce the asking price of the car they have!!!
whatever is on the price tag/screen i've gone with it,But knowing they'll have a mark up on that, SO.. as I understand it, they then work out their figures to make me feel I've been given a fair price for mine.
we're not going to take a s@@t Px and also pay full asking price on the car (and also we want to buy the extra warranty/Fogs/parking sensors/tax).
As in no rush to get white STi (either std/PPP/330R/330S) I'm going to sell privately and take the Px out the equation. Then it'll be....... 'right, that car there..whats the price for cash'
that way i should see a better deal?

How many people would be interested in a carbon fibre fuse box cover, and how much would you be prepared to pay?

PPPd too.. £19500
makes the one I looked at yesterday seem over priced.
I need to step back and re evaluate selling my car as not going to give it awy from stupid money. then i can look at a car with no px to do.
I should get £500 off for no Px-ing?
or could I see more????
How many on here have the Grey cars?

I have a co pilot who's telling me she wants a car less than 20k miles....... also no older than 18months.
So I have to keep her happy as she's only sanctioning getting a scooby if it ticks her boxes too (ooh matron!) lol
I'll keep my eye out though.
If my Px prices are as pants as i've had this weekend, I'll hold out and sell my car private.. then come as cash buyer. easier all round.
