Pimmo do you like your iphone?
Im considering getting one, but there are a few things that might **** me off!
Does the crippled bluetooth bother you?
Is the DRM issue bothering you?
Could you give a v quick list of pros and cons please
Now you have one, and considering the overall cost, is it worth it?
Mine would be pay and go at 340 quid!

Lack of mms, cut and paste, rubbish camera but saying that the first 3 are being sorted for summer with a update. The speaker isn't very loud at all.
After all that said I still love it!
The browser is spot on, multi touch is very slick , the apps you can get are brilliant and video playback is good too!

repositories are like download sources for Cydia.
there was an app download you could search for that adds them all or google for some.
Heres a few. Ispazio , modmyifone and ZOD are quite good. ZOD does all the emulators. NES. SNES, MEga drive etc

What DRM? The music is standard MP3 and the video MP4, so not really protection unless you buy from iTunes.
The video playback is excellent, it does a good job of being an iPod and it isn't too bad at being a phone. The applications are great. The browser is extremely usable.
It doesn't have MMS (although I've never sent one in my life anyway), it doesn't have Copy & Paste (rant: How on earth can you not have Copy & Paste?) and the battery life is a bit short.

Cheers for the replies, i thank you!
I bought one yesterday, and first impressions are its excellent!
I can jalibreak it and sort the bluetooth A2DP out, cydia will give me recording from the camera and mp3 ringtones, copy and paste is coming in 3.0.
The fluidity of the screen and scrolling are 100 percent better than my viewty (which is for sale @ 100 quid, its hacked, has emulators and loads of other stuff on it, plus a 4 gig memory card, is virtually brand new and i have the box and all the bumph to go with it).
Using the wifi at home is fast and looks good and the UI is brilliant!
Calls are a touch expensive but i get free wifi and 3g for a year, and after looking at my call usage from the viewty, i was only using 30 percent of my allowance, so ill put about 20 quid a month in the iphone. viewty contract was about 40 a month
It feels so good not to have an 18 month contract hanging over my head ( ive had contracts since i was 21), i can do what i want with my iphone, if i fancy i can jailbreak it and sell it for 450 on ebay and just buy another (it was 340 in the shop).
Will have a play with cydia and a few emulators tonight, and give more input then!
Oh, and DRM is digital rights management, its apples way of making sure any music you put on the iphone is done through itunes, and not your mates bluetooth or infrared, and therefore paid for, but there are ways round it!

One feature I have always wanted is the ability to mark a text messages as unread, liek you would with an e-mail.
No phone I've ever used has this feature and it bugs the hell out of me.
I was my iPhone had it
