I like most of them.

That one is nice, I like them busy with extra dials, blow off valves, and chrono's etc.

Discover more here, read the heritage and history.
Welcome to BALL Watch

I like the green diver models, which maybe my next purchase, the inner rotating bezel is nice.

One thing that disappoints me is the rotating bezels do not have tritium technoligy, so they are not as bright as the rest of the watch.

The bezels have a soft plastic luminate insert which is not good enough, and it is prone to discolouration..

The build quality of the watches is excellent, and the St St straps are bomb proof with huge clasps machined from solid Stainless block, the strap is attached to the shoulders not by two spring bars like the norm, but FOUR big heavy gauge screws and tubes, I have never seen anything so over engineered in my life.

And yet to finish the heavy clasp off they have added an intricate RR emblem engraved in profile, the case backs are a work of art simple as that.

Go and handle some, you dont need to buy, just get a couple out and see what its all about.

You wont appreciate the lume until you sleep with it, it is so bright you can find the light switch on the wall in total darkness...madness.

Do I fix watches?

Yes, but Im no horoligist, I have some talent and have had watches in pieces and rebuilt since I was 18 years old.

I have built up a large collection of quality tools and equipment.

I feel happy working on my own watches but dont like the pressure of working on other peoples.

I can service and callibrate most calliber of automatic movements, and do easy stuff like cleaning/buffing/scratch removal/strap sizing/battery replacement/re-sealing etc.

But only for friends and family and obviously my own collection.

Sorry.

Is it being repaired at you local AD or did they have to send it away ?

A guy in work watch "stoppped ticking" it was a Breitling SuperAvenger, when I looked at it the crown was out.

I asked him what was the problem, he said, its stopped, I pressed and screwed the crown in and it started, he thinks Im some sort of magician...

Some people dont read manuals.

I suggested he sells it to me and buys a Quartz watch.

No it's definately broken, I think the spinny thing has come off inside, it was making quite a rough noise when you shook it. It was after a day riding a motorbike so i may of shook it too much and vibrated it to bits. Its a dssd thats 2 months old and gone back to Rolex

The button on the clasp that clips over the winder has fallen off my Ball Engineer. The watch has had to go back to Ball Europe ( in switzerland) for it to be replaced

Come on Yoza, get a grip............... you really must enrol on a photography course or buy a decent camera

I have had a change of brands recently and am loving these:

the lume is blooming fantastic

It is an Orient Star 300m diver and is one hell of a lump of steel and very accurate.

Here it is alongside an Omega Seamaster

and some perspective as to just how chunky it is (again compared to a seamaster)

Loving the Deepsea!! However I wish they had made the bracelet a little thicker. It seems a little un-balanced compared to the rest of the watch, that said I wouldn't say no

Cheers

Ive just had to Have my Brietling Ocean Colt completely repaired after slipping off a kirb pissed up, and smashing it on the floor.

Bezel, Glass Face and surrounding links all scuffed badly. Isnt going to be cheap to repair, Leonard Dews flew it off to Geneva yesterday......

Come over to the dark side Nat, or should I say the light side.

I cant believe a SeaDweller would shake its self to bits on a motorbike, unless of course you fell off it.

My wife is currently giving me photography lessons, when we get round to the watches I shall show you my new skills.

Its all about exposure/lighting/tri-pods and delay apparently.....

I am no expert, I once bought a Tag.

Your question depends on condition/box/papers etc....

I would hazzard a guess at 15 to 20 thousand GBP.

Best going for a new re-make, they have sorted out the production problems with the Green lenses now, so go for a new one.

Love the DSSD Yoza.

Bit too chunky for my wrists, I need to go back to weight lifting, lol.

I'm not sure what to buy next, I'd still like a Sub but current model is bit too similar to my GMII (black face, black bezel). I do like the LV Sub but a friend of mine has one so he'd give me grief, lol

Wish I'd never become interested in watches or cars, need to find a cheap hobby !

"Come on yoza, own up you've just got it from one of the sites Nat posted up a couple of weeks ago"

I wish....the money I have outlayed on this watch is causing me grief.

And for the first time in ages I have actually got buyers blues.

Nothing wrong with the watch, just a glint of guilt at spending on myself....AGAIN.

I have a picture of my SDDS next to a green Milgauss as size comp for the earlier poster.

I will post later as my phone is dead...Phone now alive.

The Milgauss is bigger than you may imagine, its a nice watch but a bit dressy for me, also for £3500 I would like a date window.

The green lens is quite striking and gives the illusion that it is reactalight, but its not.

It has no corronet etched under the lens at 6 o,clock anyone know why?

It belongs to a workmate who waited for it for ages, then a couple of weeks back got a call and there it was.

Note to self.....Must book and pay for family holiday before blowing %$£" on another watch.

You are not alone......

Forgot to add....loving all the watches posted so far, I like that Orient Star lots of watch and no silly money.

I have found one for $850 plus $30 p&p plus Import duty...is this about right?
