Just like to say a huge thank you to Simon Roe (Jolly Green Monster).

Simon went out of his way today to drop off my MAP and air temp sensors to me today. These will support the Syvecs ECU and gives me time to get them fitted neatly before mapping commenses.

Lets face it, we all like photos. So finally some stuff to show you all.

Got my modified boost pipes back. And also got a nice little boss turned up for the Syvecs air temp sensor. I wanted to see wher was best to fit this once its was all mocked up. So now that can be TIG'd in place and then teh pipes can go for powdercoat.

Alyn at AS Performance came up trumps yet again with a new dipstick tube (lost the other one... dont ask) and also a new throttle body gasket.

Also my steering setup arrived from Works Bell in Japan. This consists of a billet ally boss, forged Rapfix quick release and also a larger paddle.
Momo wheel should be here next week to complement these bits. Really am very impressed with the quality of the Works Bell gear. Its beautifully made and i cant wait to see it fitted

probably fine but just check you can't squash the pipe and touch the two sides together,, if you can then it will need reinforcing. As a gt35R sucks for england

I did have it made in 5 ply Si but i'll give her a good squeeze.

Looks superb frayz,rcm run the silicone inlet pipes with no probs,i ran one and it was fine,not sure what ply they are tho.

Is it not a good idea to fit the air temp sensor into the inlet mani ??,thats what i was planning on doing,just drilling and tapping a 10x1mm.

This is one i had made, dude, didnt fancy the RCM prices lol Had it made in 5 ply though so hope it will be enough. If not i'll call my guy and get a wire rung one.

Nah dude, its deffo going in the boost pipe, hense the stainless boss

what colours your header tank? id keep it in line with other black stuff in the bay..keep a theme.

quick q on your quick-release boss - why that one over any other on the market?

Matt is easy to keep clean now with the Swiss Vax Opaque range. You can treat it like gloss. Prices aren't too bad either.

The 90 off the Turbo may not be short/tight enough, and interfere with the strut tower.

Hmmm, gonna check out some samples tomorrow at the coaters. Then make a decision. Gotta get my boss TIG'd on today.

After much research its the best quality available, and it was within budget. Its forged and then machined unlike other cast items. I figured it was worth spending the little extra.
I dont fancy a steering wheel coming off moment. Lol

Intake manifold has been sent for powdercoat as i was never quite happy with the durability of the VHT painted item. It was far too easy to mark and damage.

Some of the boost pipes have been dropped in for powdercoat too. I say some as the last 2 will be built on the car when the motor is in as its far simpler and then i know it will be 100% right. Boost pipes are going to be a textured satin black.
