FWIW Frayz, my road car runs a VF34...............my race car a GT30R.
Forget a 35 unless all your concerned with is bragging rights, the 30R will be quicker in all but very few situations. The 35 commands a lot of respect (do not read this as quicker) to get the most from it on the road.

My daily drive has an MD321T and I have a V waiting to go on it.. and what is suppose to be my track car a GT35R.. although I tend to use it as a daily drive far too often and first time tonight I used the daily drive in two weeks.
I can't drive either car to their full potential for very long, my nerve has gone, smashed up and had too many near misses and since having kids my bottle has gone.. but just going up through the box and fighting to keep the 35 equipped car in a straight line (and sometimes not managing) puts a huge grin on my face.. yes I would probably get from A to B with a 30R on it quicker but I'd have a smaller grin.
Sometimes driving the 35R everyday it starts feeling slow and I want more. . then I just borrow the wifes car for a couple of days to bring myself back down to reality.
Personnaly I think the 35R makes the ultimate subaru.. not necessarily the fastest.

All very well if you are used to driving quick things Simon...bit of a shock to the system to go from a normal car to a 500+ car after not driving anything quick for a while. Personally I'd be gutted if I stuck mine in a hedge after all the effort I've put into it which is why I'm sticking with an 18g to begin with...his car was quick enough with the FP Green to be scary to be fair, let alone a 30R or 35R

All opinions are appreciated guys and i havent yet 100% decided what im going to do. Either blower will make it quicker than 99% of other road cars out there. But ive always wanted the car to scare me like my cossie used to. Thats why the 35R is so appealing
at least you've made you mind up...good luck with it...just don't look at the 40R's dyno plots

less boost on the turbo doesn't mean less stress on the motor...
the larger turbo flows more air.. therefore less boost equals the same cylinder pressure.. ie. it is no different... although the later spool is less stress on the rods.

Probably not going billet. I don't need 700hp capability and want the spool to be as quick as possible.
Although the billets produce more, they do seem to spool a little later than stock compressor wheels.
I think a stock 3582R would be ample.

Cast stainless steel housing so super smooth inside and out, smaller and lighter (its says here in their marketing blurb). I've recently acquired one of these (GT3076R Tial vband) and will be fitting it some time later in the summer.
