Look what Mr Postie dropped off this morning

Now officially the owner of a Tial 44mm external wastegate. V-bands on both ends for the best mounting possible.

Build quality is the usual Tial. Nothing short of mindblowing... but i'll let you see for yourselves.

Now just my turbo and i can get on with some fabrication.

After much debate, i finally decided where i was now going to mount the fuel pressure regulator. Previously this had been mounted on my offside inner wing. However with the all new fuel system i decided i wanted a more central position so as to make the fuel lines as neat and as equal length as possible.

I can probably say im the world wide winner for the most over engineered FPR bracket in history. Not content with the first one i made, (Felt a bit flimsy) i made a 2nd one. This time out of 6mm ally billet. Its now very very solid and feels nice and strong when bolted up. I managed to get the outlets positioned nice for the returns entering the sides on the exits of the rails.

The rails i will also be making myself.

Sorry Kev, (Slaps wrist)

Not much to update, except my turbo is on back order from Garrett so its not here yet. Nevermind as ive been busying myself making a brackets etc for the new fuel filter.

Also painted the fuel reg bracket etc.

(Please take no notice of the mess by the filter, this is where all my wires are cable tied up for now)

Probably about £40K inc cost of the car, that doesnt inc any labour as i do all the work on it myself.

when you look at the cost though it sounds like huge amounts. don;t get me wrong it is serious money. but when you think it's a custom car that you have spec'd it nothing compared to what you'd have to pay for something that you could go into a dealers and just buy.

Frayz, just check what type of filter is inside that housing, ie paper or fine mesh. Are they serviceable?

Thats ok if its serviceable. The paper ones are quite fine, and if its anything like my sytec one, clogged after 1 year (2000 miles).
