No - I phoned and left a message, but I think he was already in China or wherever he went so I'll have to try again.

 

Has anybody else managed to pay their deposit and confirmed dates and locations yet?

 

I could do with knowing whats happening, its the 10th next weekend, are we going to get the Swindon ones done then or what?

 

No do you want to try and ask him about the 17th CF - as I can't get hold of him?

I will try and give Bob a call on Tuesday and ask him if he can confirm everything is going ahead.

I have spoken to Bob when I paid my deposit and he is a top bloke and gave me a few good advice concerning some modifications I had already carried out , I just do not want the GB to fall apart with it being so close to the date after all the hard work by Trap2Terrorist.

 

I don't mind waiting a bit longer if it helps, just means I need to drive like a granny as I've fitted my VF35 now and I do need to use the car.

 

Bob contacted me today by email to ask us to confirm who's getting mapped, where and when. He obviously said that he's been away so is aware we haven't been able to get hold of him.

I'll send him the list below but can you confirm the address of the Wales mapping? I suspect he will also prefer to do 3 in Wales and 2 in Swindon, to make his trip over more 'efficient'. Are any of the guys under the Swindon option prepared to be done in Wales instead?

Cannon Fodder will have to confirm address. If he can do 5 in a day (unlikely surely?) then I can't do the 10th.

Also as previously said I would much rather have it done in Wales.

 

I'm flexible on dates, but still prefer swindon It doesn't make sense for me to go to Wales as I'd have to drive past swindon to get there.

 

I suppose I could do either location really, Swindon is a lot easier to get to as I am near Bath, and you need to pay to get across the bridge! How much is it these days?

 

Bob is happy to do 5 in a day in Wales if it's better for all concerned but it sounds like MixMan X and Scoobeenut would prefer having it done in Swindon. So, how does this sound (we need to confirm running order, etc asap if we're going to keep this weekends booking).

Providing these dates/time/locations suit all, I'll confirm them with Bob and let him know who's having what done?

Also, for the South Wales mapping, Bob has asked for us to try and sort out somewhere undercover for him to connect all the bits to the engine, etc, in case it's pi55ing down?

I can provide a commercial vehicle workshop for him to use, we could easily get all 3 cars in plus his own vehicle, I would prefer to go last as I will have to open up and then close up. It is 1 minute off the A470 and the postcode is CF37 5SX. There is a McD's and Subway five minutes away and if you are desperate Tescos can be walked to within 2 minutes.

 

Just noticed this GB. To you all this is well worth the wait . I have a P1 and Bob sorted me baby out for sure . He is great at what he does and explains if you ask as well. Even i had to wait for a month when i had upgrades fitted but its well worth the wait . Have a great Mapping session my best to you all
