Don't hold your breath...their estimates are usually out by a factor of f*ckin' loads

I've usually ended up waiting 2-3 months longer than TD originally estimated with anything to do with my LM

A number of these were on backorder (non DBW as well as DBW).... I can only assume the first batch went as soon as available (non DBW). The initial batches of the original LM's were like this.... they just sold straight away. DBW is a small market in comparison to the non DBW unfortunately, so hence the wait on the housings I suspect, as "you" may concentrate on the biggest market for initial runs.

Mine was one from the first batch and that was nearly two months ago iirc.

Saying all of this.... yours might of been the one that turned up on Friday!

Yep... DBW fouls the compressor cover, so it needs to be altered for DBW cars.

I saw Iain Today he was VERY tired from his visit to East.

I had a offer for my Car but he cannot insure it with the LM400 so I've re-fitted my old 350bhp VF turbo

Looks like I have a LM400 for sale done under 1,000 miles with fitting kit, upgraded bronze bearing, 2 brand new compressors wheels fitted last week by turbo dynamics and un-used (one is the new Billet) Ł1300ono

PM me

Tony

Even if you were to leave it standard surely you'd want a JDM. The power delivery smooth engine nice and quite.

When Tony says a "slow old Saloon" he actually means a brand new UK Saloon!

Best of luck with the 2.5 engine mate!

Firstly let me apologies if anyone has struggled to get hold of me recently, I have made a couple of trips to Asia with limited Internet access which has caused emails to backup. I try to reply to every enquiry and call but clearly some are being missed. Our other staff try to help where ever possible but ultimately the buck stops with me. We have been working hard with Subarus for many years and the vast majority of our customers are very happy with the service we provide but I know we can and will improve.

We have total commitment to all things Subaru as our recent development of the Billet versions of the LM Turbo, sponsorship of Scoobynet and media coverage on the new Spec C demostrates. We do however have an increasing workload with other makes and models like the Nissan GTR which has recently seen us travelling abroad. Our Workshop is extremely busy so at present it makes fitting in extra emergency jobs difficult. This current busy period is also compounded by the arrival of our Son recently which has meant Jenny’s time in the office has been limited.

It is of cause good to be busy but we are aware that this can impact on some customers so we have invested in another pair of new ramps and will have new staff members joining soon. We are also not taking on any new large engine work until we have a number of exchange engines on the shelf as this can often lead to backlogs as we wait on suppliers (a problem throughout the industry). We will have a range of 2.0 and 2.5 engines on the shelf in the coming weeks which will allow us to turn around jobs in a matter of days rather than weeks. Just in time for when you break your 2.5 Saloon Tony

Regards
Iain

ROFLOL - Let's be honest, that won't take long as some of us are aware of Tony's heroics and I doubt the OE 2.5 lump will like that too much!

When are booked in for the full engine build then Tony? Next week?!

Hello,

I need your help about the following LM fitting questions. I'm fitting an LM450S with his dedicate fitting kit.

The water pipe supplied with LM turbo from a side touch the turbo and to other side the oil pipe. The stock water pipe (of my RA) is total different and it doesnt touch the turbo or oil pipe. Is it normal or i have to modify the oil pipe that comes with litchfield turbo kit? See the following pic.

The other question is the correct position where join the turbo oil pipe to engine. The oil pipe supplied with the kit is very long. It have to be connected to stock connector of engine (like the following pic)? so in this case i have to cut the garrett oil pipe. Or i have to connect the oil pipe to other position of engine?

Every comment will be apprenciated.
