No mate, it will arrive this week. Probably won't go on until after SSO as I am also changing ECU to a Simtek so got to arrange mapping etc etc.

If anyone is interested, the MD321T will be coming off in October. This will come with it's own 2 bolt HKS uppipe and turbo has a standard 58mm inlet. This had a brand new core less than 500 miles ago (have reciept from TD). There will also be the lateral inlet pipe available and inlet with RCM filter and spun trumpet. Happy to split but will sell as a full package. Here's a pic of the inlet set up which works with a STI4 Maf

Well an interesting few days with the Type R. The PPG 5 speed replaced the 6 speed last Friday and all was well until I went and tested it with a couple of full boor drag launches on Friday night. 2nd one and bang,; no clutch. So off to my pals garage very early Saturday as we were due to be sprinting at RAF Barkston Saturday and Sunday.

Off with the box and the centre locking ring (whatever it's called) had completely come astray. Not something I have seen before. Still we raided another clutch I had and got the box back in with another slave cylinder as that shot it's bolt when clutch went So box out and back in within 2 hours. Many hands and all that.

So off to Barkston we went, although late we started the PM session and all was going well. Box felt good, although open DCCD took some getting used to for little Paul

Practice for the second session came along and I really had the car on the limit. Then on the fastest section at over 80mph I braked for a chicane and pop/bang no brakes !!! With barriers and bollards in front of me I took avoiding action and took a grassy route down hill, with gentle use of handbrake and trying to control the car I managed to keep it under control without hitting anything thank goodness.

Upon investigation we found a failed braided front line. It had come off the strut support and rubbed against the inner wheel, the wheel weights had cut through the hose ! So end of our day but no real damage done.

Brain was in fast compute mode that's for sure ! Marshals were impressed when I told them what happened, I entertained them earlier in the day too by thinking grass had as much grip as tarmac ! Then crossed the finish line backwards Time was only 3 seconds slower then my fastest run.

We have straight first and second then helical third and forth. I really like it, although I have only done one event with it so far. First is really good for launching compared to the old six speed. Shame these gearsets won't take the power/torque of the blue car. Helical gears don't seem any louder than standard to me.

Some pics from Barkston - Paul getting to grips with an open diff and the need for opposite lock, me thinking going over the finish line backwards could be quicker and finally my trip across the grass following brake failure

Pipe came away from strut, rubbed against inner wheel where the wheels weights worked their way through !

I like the way that guy is just standing there taking a time out to look half way through a text message lol, is the dccd tricky to master when controlled by the syvecs mate? im going to get duncan to set mine up the same way when the time comes.

I only have that on the blue car Ian and it only goes in straight lines Although Paul is going to tweak the lock setting for launching next week. I think Duncan runs auto on his ?
